    I stayed in this motel for approximately 4 hours on October 17th, 2024. I work in marketing and was here on a business trip. Upon arrival, the lobby was not well-maintained and desolate. I also felt unsafe being a solo female traveler with a room so easily accessibly to the outside. There was trash in the parking lot and random people walking by. Anyone could easily access my room. After inspecting the inside of my room, I found hair and dirt in the bathroom, and mold in the garbage cans. I have MODERATE ASTHMA and can't imagine how much other mold is hidden around this place. I immediately called my company which moved me 2 mins up the street into a nicer Holiday Inn. I checked out in about 4 hours and again, have photo and video evidence detailing what time I arrived, what I found, and what time I departed. When making my complaints to the front desk and asking to check out, he told me I still needed to pay for one night. Again, I'm a solo female traveler on business. There are no other employees or even customers in site. I am not going to sit here and argue with a man about the fact that I shouldn't have to pay anything for a mold-infested room that I never even spent the night in, let alone more than 4 hours. My confirmation number states: *************. For whatever reason it's not coming up in the system, probably because it was deleted to avoid any complaints. No worries, I have my photo and video proof as well as the physical printed receipt and copy of the managers card: **** ***** General Manager Days Inn RUSTON 1801 North Service Road East - Ruston, LA 71270 - ***** ******** ************************* - days inn.com. I stayed on 10/17 and left on 10/17 hours later. I feel they are scam artists because on my receipt my arrival date says October 17th and my departure date says October 18th even though I left in a matter of hours. However, I have photo/video proof AND on the bottom of the receipt is the time it was printed which clearly states October 17th.
