    I have been with this company for two years. After Hurricane Francine arrived on Wednesday they required customers to have their cans out by 7 AM the next day. I didn't get communication but I was up at midnight trying to keep water out of my house due to a leak anyway. They refuse to come pick up my trash since I missed the Thursday morning route. Both cans are completely full.

    It is absurd for a trash company to require customers to put out trash during a hurricane / merely a few hours after it started dying down. There were still reports of 30 mph winds that day.

    When I spoke with a representative she stated that other trash companies did this too. I would rather a company lead by example than follow. I am in a bind with no where to put my garbage for a week now.

    Trash Rangers notified its customers via email, text alerts, Facebook, and our website of the service changes due to the Storm. (One of the same ways you contacted us about a missed pickup - Facebook) Winds were under 35 MPH so we started our routes as we stated at 8 AM. We are sorry you did not check any of the notification methods we used to notify our customers, and didn't place your carts out for service when we passed in the 10 AM hour.  When we passed, many of your neighbors had their carts out for collection in your subdivision. Many of the other companies began routes at 6 AM vs Trash Rangers starting at 8 AM. You requested your account to be canceled. So upon your request, we have cancelled it at the end of your billing cycle.

    Customer did not have trash cart out multiple times when we passed. Customers are told to place their cart out the night before for service and receive a text reminder the night before at 7 pm. Images and videos from route match his house with no cart out.

    Back in the beginning of March I spoke with a representative from this company canceling my trash pickup because I was moving away to a different city. I called in, spoke to a man and received confirmation that my trash service was cancelled verbally over the phone. They would not provide any documentation as and said they can’t provide a confirmation. Fast forward to this week, in MAY, I was billed again for $77.85 for trash from Trash Rangers. I have not lived there in months and canceled with them months ago. According to their “records” they don’t have any proof I ever called them. I asked for a refund and they said they don’t provide any refunds and will “turn off auto pay” They also threatened that if my trash can was not there when they went to check for it, they would charge me another $80. Worst experience with a business probably ever. I have a feeling this company does not provide you with any documentation or confirmations because they want to scam people without the chance of legal repercussions. The resolution? Simple. Refund $77.85 you stole from my account and cancel all future payments. This is my desired resolution.
