i had my tub and shower walls resurfaced, and he did a BAD job and wont fix his mistakes. he came out one time to repair some cracked paint and peeling caulk and havent heard from him since and its not done right. he gouged up my shower walls and wont fix them and he would have to strip the walls, on the problem HE made. said the sticky pads for corner shelving he had to put Stripper on and i guess use a Metal scraper to scrape it off, said he filled them in the best he could. also caulk is all cracked still and he just painted over barely as you can clearly see the cracks, and the peeling area you can see the old tub color showing through. HORRIBLE communication skills and stood me up once on the fix after asking me what time i would be available.

quoted me one price, then that price changed when i wanted him to put the New handles back on the tub so i wouldn't have to do it. and it ended up being even more than the 2 quoted prices and told me hes cutting me a deal. Not to mention, the last time he was out he told me to come here so he can show me "What my Problem is" said its my paneling behind the shower walls flexing. funny iv'e had shower walls up the same ones for 30 years and the other caulk never cracked!!

    Thanks for the
opportunity to accurately and honestly respond. The customer called us to
repair a large panel crack on the outside of his cultural marble bathtub and
refinish it and the shower walls. This is what the initial estimated was for.
However, when we began the cleaning process, we noticed there were 5
translucent adhesive strips, that we pointed out to him and there's additional
cost associated with this repair. Which took us over an hour just to remove and
we did not get paid for. We never use STRIPPER on Cultural Marble only acetone
which is a very mild solvent. We repaired multiple scratches and dings that's
involved in the refinishing process. Will not repair all unless discussed and
approved at an additional cost. After we completed the job, the customer and
his wife were joyous. It was only when the customer asked us to re-install the
plumbing that he removed and we told him we were not plumbers, is where the
dissatisfaction arose. Days later the customer called us out to look at a
complaint he had about the seams>>>>Where the shower walls meet the
bathtub>>>where the coating was cracking exposing the caulking. We
asked the customer to step inside of the bathroom and point out to him his
problem area, NOT OURS! We pushed on the shower wall at the "SEAM"
and noticed it moves back and forth about 3/16 of an inch which breaks the
coating bond. We agreed!!! We repaired the crack, even though it was not on us
nor was it due to job performance and we did not charge him for the repair. The
customer understood that it is the weak old, damaged paneling behind his shower
walls that needs to be addressed. There is no way you can see the previous tub and shower. We applied multiple coats of primers and topcoats. The customer stated that he has had these
same panels for OVER 30yrs and the caulking never cracked. It is because there
was no caulking there to be cracked. This is why we installed it. This is a
typical disgruntled customer who was looking for a few freebies and now has
    resulted defamation and Slander.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: he's lying!! The panelling is fine in fact I had it Resurfaced by a Reputable company and small bead of caulk not gobbed on. Did give me a Quote beforehand just wanted pictures. If he would of come out he would of seen the translucent sticky strips and he could have went up on the price and I would have said no. I was not happy from the start me and him got into it in the bathroom because it wasn't right from the start. Now he can tell you whatever he wants but once I get the receipt from having it resurfaced that should tell you I'm not looking for a freebie I'm wanting my money back because I wanted the job done correctly the first time. But for his work and him ignoring me for as long as he did he could have cut all that cock out and replaced it but he refused.

And yes there was caulk there you cannot leave a panel touching the tub and the Gap without there being caulk in between each seam to prevent water from seeping around and behind the tub. That right there is where he's lying and on I was not overjoyed with the results. Never said the paneling need to be replaced I told him that paneling been there ever since his house has been here and the caulk never cracked probably because the caulk was never Gobbed on like a toddler did it.

Since I was looking for A Freebie according to P&R resurfacing. I went and spent Another $1000 to have it Done correctly. And Fridays Resurfacing didn't go well as it dried wrong, so Yesterday Monday June 10th they completely resurfaced the tub Again as that's how to take care of Warranty. Not complain your work is Great and disappear because you got Paid like this guy did. Not looking for a Freebie just looking for my money refunded on a BAD job he had every opportunity to fix. But blames my panelling as being the issue. Funny thing now it has a small bead all on the seams of caulk with Zero cracking. Because the caulk bead was small it has a chance to dry, not dry on the outside and crack, and be gooey wet on the inside because bead was WAY to big and would Never dry
