    *** ********* with Pure Peace Fencing did not complete the job we agreed upon and I paid for in April of this year. The job was to replace 340 feet of fencing around my backyard property at my home. I paid him upfront the cost of material and stain. He did satisfactorily complete 313 feet of the fence replacement but with no stain. Afterwards, we agreed on the remaining 27 feet that was overlooked in the original quote at which time I paid him an additional sum of $1,084.91 for this section for material and labor. The invoice (#4129) I received in email acknowledged this work to be completed. This invoice was dated 5-7-23 and according to my credit union this check was cashed on 5-10-23. To this date I have only received one encouraging text on July 21st from Mr. ********* stating that he was waiting on the stain as well as "finally got my insurance company to reimburse me for all my destroyed tools" from the storm damage on his property. He also stated he would be getting to me very soon. After that I have not gotten a reply by text and or gotten through by phone. Also, it appears his Facebook post for Pure Peace Fencing has been taken down.

    I had closed everything down due to the time of canceled work due to devastating factors. At the time we are refunding any obligations we obtained from customer dissatisfactions. Refund will be part by part sent until fully paid eta on 100%paid will be within 60-90 days upon this response. We sincerely apologize for the complete inconvenience. Thanks

    I am rejecting this response because what guarantee do I have that a full payment will be made?  Additionally, waiting another three months to receive my money back is unacceptable as this has been going on since May.  I am sorry about your loses but that is not my problem.  I would have been more understanding if you would have taken the time and effort to reach out to me to tell me you were closing down your business.  It wasn't until after I went the Better Business Bureau for help that now you ask for another three months to pay back what is owed to me. 

    I will provide a letter for your signature stating you will pay half of the $1,084.91($542.45) by October 20, 2023 and the other half by November 17, 2023.  If you cannot accept this offer we will have to settle out in court.
