      I had Gemco co. to put up a porch in my front yard in March, 2024. Now I'm having zoning issues and a letter stating no permit was pulled from the Company. Now I have Gemco stating I was suppose to pull a permit myself and it was in my contract. I didn't read that no where in my contract nor did **** ********* the Manager of Zoning. I just want Gemco to come and get the porch and get me back my $6636 for the building. I really hate that I'm being lied to and getting the run arounds who this company. One mintue ***** ***** from Gemco said he would help me fix the problem the next minutes he said he is not go to fixing it because I was suppose to pull a permit which I don't no how to do or get measurement of an home.

      Gemco is currently working with the City of Shreveport permits department to (**** *********) to get a variance for Ms. ****** to be able to keep her carport cover. In the event they will not grant the variance we will be in contact with our attorney for further guidance on this issue.

      The zoning department is making me pay $350 for the zoning permit. I don't have this kind of money.  Gemco should be willing to pay it for me it's due Tuesday October 29, 2024

      I didn't receive that part of the contract and do that have to have my signature on it.  Smh Gemco knew that they did wrong because if that letter was in my contract do they supposed to go to the city to see if I pulled the permit, if I was supposed to pull my own permit before they do the job. So still the violation is on Gemco not me, they was supposed to make sure I pull the permits before they did the work.  But they didn't because they knew they didn't tell me about a permit in the first place.

      When I ordered my shed from Gemco on Stagecoach Road, I was told that any problems with the shed at delivery would be taken care of. When the shed got delivered there were multiple problems with it cosmetically but the main problem was the door was hanging off of it. We filed a complaint immediately but they never came to fix the door so I put it back on myself but we still had a problem with it not closing all the way on one side. After we complained they did send someone over to re-level the shed hoping that would fix the problem but before the guy left he said it was a problem with the door and he videoed the problem and said he would get in touch with the right people and have the door fixed. After a few months we called to ask when it would be fixed and they asked for pictures of the door. We sent the pictures and waited another few months and never heard anything from Gemco. We called again and they said they needed us to send pictures (again) of the problems we were having with the door. We still haven’t heard anything and we have continued to call multiple times asking if they can fix the issue. We never got to even discuss the cosmetic issues the shed had upon arrival because no one will talk to us or do anything to help us. It’s now been a year and the door was never fixed.

      On 7/23/23 our service tech went to Mr. and Mrs. ******** home and made repairs to his building. On 7/27/23 I personally made contact with Mr* ****** and he advised me that  the repairs has been made and he is happy with everything. He also advised me he would have never filed a complaint but felt Gemco was avoiding his calls but was very happy it has been fixed. I did apologize to him for the lack of communication in getting his repairs done in a timely manner.
