      I paid $100 to ****** *****, the preparer at Liberty Tax to file my 2022 taxes. The IRS has not received my taxes and its been 30 days. I would like my 2022 taxes to be filed and I would like my preperation fee returned/refunded since my taxes were not filed May 1, 2024 as promised.

      Every tax year is listed starting with 2020 except 2022 on the IRS website. Liberty still hasn't  filed my 2022 taxes.

      Dear BBB,

      This is ****** ***** with Liberty Tax.  I am so sorry for the late response on this,  I have been working with Ms. ******* for months now with her 2022 and 2023 Tax Return.  Ms. ******* receives disability and reports income from Uber.  With the documents that Ms. ******* provided I had to submitted additional paperwork to explain the deductions for Ms. ******* income such as the mileage report for her driving doing the uber deliveries.  That took time to get the information approved thru the IRS.  

      Not only did I go above and above for Ms. ******* her fees for the tax years was only $100.00.  Ms. ******* stated that she could only afford to pay $100.00 due to her limited income.

      I have also enclosed a copy of the deposit from the IRS into Ms. ******* account when Ms. ******* came into the office she filed 2023 tax Return first in May for 100.00 dollars.  At that time Ms. ******* 2022 return was placed on hold until she could provide $100.00 for her 2022 tax return.  Also to show the customer service provide to Ms. ******* because a 1099nec was included in the return.  her original fees were over $400.00 dollars due to 1099NEC self employment form.  Ms. ******* called the office several times I informed her that she still had to pay for her 2022 return that the 100 he gave was only for 2023 tax year.  Ms. ******* called the office after she was ready to pay the 100.00 for 2022.  I sent Ms. ******* an electronically form to sign and invoice to pay the 100.00 she did I submitted the return to the IRS there where delays with expecting the return due to the uber income while on disability.
