    This facility operates a weekly non gymnastic involved activity that is open to the public . Its advertised for kids under 12 however teenagers attend. There is minimal supervision and the kids are being assaulted without consequences.

    We are saddened to hear that your child did not have a good time at our Friday Kid’s Night Out Program and would like to address your concerns. Our program is offered to children ages 6-12 years old. When registering for KNO, parents are to enter their child’s information which includes their date of birth. There have actually been occasions where we have turned children away because they were over the age of 12. Our admittance policy is that we maintain a student to teacher ratio of 10:1, not including our office staff. We do enforce this policy strictly and have occasionally had to close off admittance due to reaching our maximum capacity. If our staff sees any behavior that is inappropriate, sees a child who appears upset or has a child bring up a concern or issue, we address the situation immediately. Most situations between children can be fixed quickly. If a child’s behavior is unruly or inappropriate, a parent is called and the child is sent home. Disciplinary measures taken with children are not made public, but are addressed with their guardians. Gymnastics Plus has been offering great programs for the children of Slidell for over 30 years. We take pride in the care and concern we have for our students and look into every situation completely. We would be happy to discuss your personal situation regarding this night.
