Sold a car to Hyundai on May 18th, 2024. The car was paid off on June 13th, 2024 & the title was mailed to Hyundai. I knew the title may take up to 20 days for Hyundai to receive. I finally called Hyundai to check on the status, to see if my payment was ready on Wednesday July 17th 2024 because I havent heard anything. And yes it was. I was told that I would receive tracking for the check that they were going to mail to me. That never happened. So by 7/22, Monday I text the person that told me it was his personal number to see if I could get the tracking number for the check. 7/23, Tuesday, I called Hyundai again. This time I was told that I could leave a message for someone. I asked if I could just pick up the check beings its obvious that they are never going to mail it. Still no call. And no payment for the vehicle I sold to them.Customer Answer

I have Hyundai Accent that's been burning a lot of motor oil without any leaks. I called the Hyundai corporate office and they said that they have a recall on my model due to that situation. But before they can make a decision on mines that I would have to take my vehicle to have an oil consumption test done. So I brought my vehicle to Hyundai of Slidell more than 3 times and every visit was it wasn't low. My last visit today 9/29/23 and when I went to Hyundai of Slidell to get my oil checked out and while waiting on my car I stepped out and seen the technician adding oil and when I checked out I asked ****************** how much oil was added she stated none. I told her I just seen the technician adding oil and ****************** became frustrated and sent another clerk to find out and while waiting I asked ******* for my paperwork she said the other clerk had my copy and so when I went out to get in my car the clerk came out with my copy and it showed where .3 quarts were added. I feel like they are procrastinating and trying to take advantage me because I'm an elderly lady and they want me to drive around untili blow my engine. She haven't scheduled for me to come back anymore.Initial Complaint

Hyundai of Slidell is taking too long to repair my car that is under warranty without giving me a loaner. The initial appointment for the car was August 17th for the air that had gone out. Upon bringing the car, the car was refused for service with a story that they had lost two technicians and it would have to be brought the following week. The car was brought back for a second appointment on August 24th. We were then told the part would be in on Tuesday the 29th with resolution shortly thereafter. Come Tuesday, we heard from no one. On Wednesday we were unable to get with anyone until late in the day and the person has now told us the part is on back order with no eta. I explained my warranty calls for a loaner or rental in these situations. The person said they would look for a loaner but then later texted saying they were trying to get the part again. Thereafter, no follow up call was made to me nor will anyone take our call at the dealership. A corporate complaint was filed, but apparently it will be another 3-5 days until a case manager can reach out. Corporate says we can get a rental and try to seek reimbursement but would not put this in writing. This is unacceptable.Initial Complaint

Repair taking too long. We have spoke with the service department manager several times and have always been told they are waiting on the parts for repairing the rear main seal of our Hyundai ********, that they do not have them in stock. We called on 9/6/22 and was told the "...service center is very busy, can we give you a call back?", We said yes and was not called back. We called again 9/19/22, 9/27/22 and was given the same msg. We called again today, but no one answered so we left a msg. We were originally told, when we brought it in, that the time to get the repairs done would take about 3 weeks. This was back on August 9th when we originally brought the vehicle in for service. We are attaching the original service order below. We would like the resolution to be a repair or replacement of the vehicle.Initial Complaint

I have purchased a used car from this dealership about 2 months ago. Within 2-3 weeks I experienced mechanical problem. This was a problem the dealership has known about, but refused to inform me about any mechanical issues. I called the dealership for an appointment to use an extended warranty that they told us they would provide. After taking it back to the dealership they manage to find the problem, but informed us that we do not have an extended warranty. With that being said I asked how much will the repair be and the mechanic who is in charge of my car informed me that it would be close to a $1,000. He asked if I have been in an accident for the undercarriage was basically damaged. I explain that any problems with the car was sold to me. So the mechanical problem and the undercarriage being damaged and duct tape. I expressed that I shouldn't be paying that amount for the dealership sold me a lemon car. The mechanic expressed that all he can do is reduce the price but he did not disclaim by how much.
