I hired JOJ Land and Marine Systems (Owner ****** ********), to rebuild my bulkhead. Because I work from home, and have video surveillance cameras around my property, I was able to observe the actively that took place. His crew mostly stared at their phones, smoked, and threw cigarette butts, trash and water bottles in my yard. Industry standards suggests that the vinyl sheets and pilings for my property should be driven a minimum of 7.5 feet into the ground. ****** and his crew only drove the sheets down approximately 2 to 2.5 feet into the ground, and would cut the tops off of the sheets to make them look like they were driven deeper into the ground. He did the same thing with the pilings he placed. They drove them approximately 3.5 to 4 feet into the ground, and cut 4 feet off the tops, again to make it look like they were driven deeper into the ground than they were. In addition, after cutting the 4 feet off the tops of the pilings, he would have his crew run the cut off ends to his truck parked on the street, to hide them. All of this was not only seen by me, but was also captured and recorded by my surveillance cameras. When I confronted ****** about all these issues, he finally admitted that he could not get the machinery to my bulkhead, that was necessary to property drive the sheets, and pilings into the ground. He then said that he would subcontract another company to come out with a barge, and remove the insufficient work and materials that he placed, and perform the job correctly. Weeks pasted, and no one ever showed up to rebuild my bulk head, and ****** stopped answering my calls and texts. He has disappeared with $16,250 of my money, and I am worse off now than when before they started because I will have to pay another company to remove the insufficient work and materials, and start over from scratch. Also, since he disappeared I have discovered that ****** is not licensed to perform this type of work, and he is not insured to work in *********.

Please let me know if you need any additional information, pictures, etc.  In addition, our back patio received minor damage during this process.

We hired and paid the owner of this company to refurbish our bulkhead and dock. We have been trying for a year to get him to repair his sub par work, which was under the warranty they issued. He came out a year ago and said he would take care of it and has never showed up! Countless messages and phone calls with no response.
