The business was hired 10/19/24. He was to cut, haul and grind stump of oak tree at *** ******* ****. Was making payments as jobs were being completed. Final payment was issued of $2400 for him to complete the stump grinding and fence replacement. He removed the fence to get to the tree. He stated his stump grinder did not work and that he was gonna have someone else come the following day. After about a week I called Ripley's because no one came. He never answered any of my calls, voicemails and text messages. There has been no response. Nor has the job been completed

    Dear **** *****
I am writing to sincerely apologize for the recent disruption in service you experienced due to complications with our arborist license. As you may know, Louisiana law mandates that all tree work be performed by a licensed arborist, and unfortunately, we encountered issues that forced us to temporarily suspend operations while we work to rectify the situation.
We are actively pursuing a resolution to this license matter as quickly as possible and are committed to getting back to serving our customers fully.
If the license issue is not resolved within the near future, upon your request, we will gladly send a check for the outstanding balance of $400 for the stump removal service.
Please feel free to contact me directly  with any questions or concerns.

    Respectfully,
    ****** ******
