      I contacted Mr. ******* ******* of Total Appliance Repair ************** to repair my KitchenAid oven and KitchenAid dishwasher. Mr. ******* arrived and diagnosed the oven to need a new baking element and the dishwasher to need a new door seal. Mr. ******* returned the next day with the oven baking element. He replaced the baking element and the oven is working correctly. He said that he ordered the KitchenAid dishwasher's door seal and that when the part came in he would install it. He suggested that I pay for the dishwasher part and labor in advance and in cash to recieve a discount. When the part came in I would not be charged for the labor to install it. I agreed and PAID CASH in the amount of $404.29. (As can be seen on the invoice #000976, I am charged $78.00 for the KitchenAid dishwasher seal.) After many texts and phone calls between Mr. ******* and myself, between October 14th and November 7th, (all in which he claims that part is on backorder, he is coming today to install it, his truck broke down, the part is in, the part is not in, he doesn't have the money to refund the part, he has the money, he is definitely coming by to drop off the $78, please don't file a report and so on...), he has yet to keep his word and has been very dishonest and decietful.

      I am filing this claim on behalf of my 93 year old mother in law. Her name is Ena ****** **** and lives at *** *********, Lafayette, LA 70503. The owner, Wallace ****** went to her home to fix her range. He proceeded to give her a sad story and asked for prepayment of $600. She told me that it was several months ago and she has called him 12 times and he does not respond to her calls. She would like to be reimbursed but also does not want anyone taken advantage of by this business owner. My phone number is ************

      A-1 Appliance service was called to replace a microwave oven. Came out and removed the existing oven took measurements, brought the new oven on 11/03. the technician dropped the new oven to the floor during the installation causing damage to the oven. upon completion of the installation he realized it was the wrong size. He agreed the correct size would be ordered and installed shortly. He checked on the order and was told it would be in the warehouse by the end of the week. On Monday he said the oven wasn't in the warehouse. I had to go out of state and he said to call him upon your return and he would immediately install the new oven. I returned on 11/27, and called him and he said the order had never been placed but he would go to Home Depot and place the order again. He will NOT answer my phone calls unless I call on a number he doesn't recognize. It's now over a month and I have no microwave and no resolve. I have offered to accept a refund of $508.89, and have him take the wrong sized oven back. He has rejected my offer.
