  I had a new roof put on my house after Hurricane *** and chimney repairs done at that time. After Hurricane ******** water came in my house through fireplace which is closed off completely and I have a gas fireplace. Every time it rains hard water was coming in. I called Cielo Construction and ****** was the guy I dealt with. They came check it out and said they would repair the chimney and absolutely no water would come in. This was said to me and my friend that helps me out . I am ****************************************************************************** at. On Jan.25, 2025 they came do repairs and I paid then $1400. ****** said he was going to come back and do a water test which he did not. Well he said not to worry because he would not do me wrong and that he lived just right up the road. Well water came in again after rain and I called him and he came out and said now water was coming in fireplace from a different area coming down the outside wall of vinyl and vinyl would have to be taken off and he didn't do that that but he knew someone that he would get to do it. Well it never got done and it is still leaking in my house(fireplace). My friend who helps me texted him and told him he needed to get it fixed because I am sick with lung infection and needed it done asap. He called me and was very ugly with me I told him to come talk to my friend because she takes care of my affairs. He came was ugly with her and said he done the job that was on invoice and that he was not responsible for fixing the leak. I hired him to fix the leak and he said it was from top of chimney I took his word he is the professional so I thought and now is is going back on his word. He said his lawyer said he did everything on the invoice so he didn't have to fix anything else but he fixed something that was not the cause. He came April 26, 2025 and said he was not fixing it. I called my lawyer and he told me to file a complaint with yall against them.

  ****** ******** complaint is inaccurate. On January 14, 2025, Ms. ******* and Cielo Construction, LLC (Cielo) contractually agreed to repair Ms. ******** chimney. The scope of works was limited to repairing and sealing off the chimney and installing new flashing around the chimney. My contract with Ms. ******* makes it very clear she was not hiring Cielo to do any work on the roofing shingles or elsewhere. After our repairs, the chimney no longer leaked. If water is still dripping into Ms. ******** home during a rainstorm, then the water is likely coming from the roof (excluding the chimney) or her elevation siding. The water is not leaking from the chimney. If Ms. ******* can find a contractor who disagrees with our position, I am happy to meet with that contractor.

  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
  
  [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] I hired them because leaking in my fireplace he said it was from the chimney and i hired him to fix it he sealed off chimney but still leaking exactly the same so they repaired the wrong thing.. That was their mistake they said the chimney and was going to do a water test  which they never did.

Obviously, we have a dispute with Mrs. ******** The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is not the proper venue for resolving this dispute. We strongly believe that she is defaming Cielo Construction LLC. By posting Ms. ******** factually inaccurate accusations, the BBB is also opening itself up to a defamation claim. For the BBBs own protection, we urge you not to become potentially liable for Ms. ******** defamatory statements.

  No I don't have another estimate yet but someone is supposed to come out in two weeks.  a few people came look but don't want to mess with someone else's work.  Again someone is coming check out and give me an estimate but they said they could not come until two weeks.  Can you extent this complaint until I get estimate Thanks
