Every single month they charge more and more for the same amount of electricity. They recently gave e their CEO a big raise and then told our lawmakers they were losing money and needed to charge more. They refuse to explain how they come up with how much they charge us and will hang up of you try to ask questions. They will refuse extensions for owing 6 dollars on a bill will shut it off whenever they feel like it and take their time turning it back on. I paid just as much money when I didn't even live at the house for a month and didn't have anything turned on besides a porch light. 300 dollars for that month.

I have one screen shot taken at 2:39 pm on Sunday (7/17/2022) shows 809.60 kWh usage at 10:16pm Sunday it shows 1082.87kwh and that I only used 12kwh today. What am I missing because it is not adding up. Also Saturday usage jumped 10kwh and Saturday was over when both of these screen shots were taken. Also projected to use more energy, when I'm clearly cutting usage. I called Entergy and spoke to a supervisor who let me know it is measured from midnight to midnight and there's no reason my Saturday usage should have went up, and also let me know my usage after midnight when everyone in my home is asleep was 200kwh, which is more than I use in a day on any other day I've ever had Entergy services and I've unplugged everything. They could give me no further input or resolution aside from having someone inspect the Entergy efficiency of my home. This is highway robbery from a utility monopoly. The worst part is the charges shown don't even include the fuel adjustment fee or storm restoration fee that will tack another 150$+ onto the projected bill. I have already filled a complaint with my local public service commisioner. I expect Entergy to give me a better answer than 'I don't know' or 'that's the cost of electricity' when the math isn't adding up.

    Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/08/04) */
MS. ******'S CONCERNS WERE ADDRESSED VIA THE LOUISIANA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION.

    Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/08/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
My concerns have not been addressed by the Public Service Commissioner I'm not sure what you think they've done but they certainly haven't addressed your faulty meters or billing errors. Just because they're on your payroll doesn't mean you get to pass this issue off to them.
