  I am a single mother that trusted Donnie Grubbs to renovate my patio in March 2024 and it has yet to fixed after repeated phone calls and showing up to the with videos and sending videos to the business I think it's very unprofessional that I am left with a leaking roof on my patio. I wanted the patio did to enjoy the summer on but I have not enjoyed it because its raining on it I paid my my money before they started and after even when I noticed it was raining on it thinking they would fix it right

  I am writing in regards to a tub to shower conversion we had installed on 3/13/2023 by Tubbs by Grubbs. I couldn’t be happier with the shower. The quality of the materials is great and the workmen who came into our home were very professional and their quality of work was excellent. When I saw the actual shower, I could see there would be issues for my husband dealing with the door I ordered. I decided we needed a shower curtain instead. The workman said he didn’t think there would be a problem returning the door especially since it had not ever been taken out of the box.
  I called the office on March 14th about 3 things. This began my 8 month dealings to accomplish 3 simple tasks.
  1. Return the shower door and get a shower rod installed
  2. Get a holder for the handheld shower which should have come with the handheld.
  3. Get an itemized invoice showing the shower had been paid in full
  It took 8 months to get these three things done. During this eight month period I would estimate I called the office 40-50 times. Many times a message was taken and I was told I would get a return call. I have yet to ever get a return call. In November I finally received a refund on the shower door minus a 50% restocking fee (very high fee)which completes these 3 simple tasks.
  When I ordered, the seat and the handheld were free promotional items that month. Even though my total is what I agreed to, the total on the invoice includes the price of both the seat and the handheld shower. That make me question if usually other parts of the shower are increased in price to cover the promo items. That would be a very unethical business practice. The explanation I was given for this was that the manufacturer creates the invoices. That is not a good explanation makes me question even more how promo items are being handled and if they really are free. Without a better explanation that is all I can conclude.
  I found the office very hard to deal with and very inefficient.

  Aggressive and pressured sales techniques. We signed a contract for a walk in shower unit on Sept. 18th. We cancelled the contract on Sept. 21st. We were told that it would take 30 days for their accountant to refund our funds. After the 30 days we heard numerous excuses from- the person we needed to talk to went to the eye doctor, took the baby to the doctor, was out to lunch and would return the call, no one works on Friday afternoon, the accountant had not released the funds, the owner was not available (has more than one business to manage), etc.
  We ended up ordering a nicer shower costing $3,000 less. Would not recommend anyone dealing with this company.

  It takes them a long time to respond to complaints, over three weeks for a leak. They put new caulking over the old caulking. Of course, it still leaked. Installed the sliding doors wrong after they took them off to caulk the bottom of the rail so it won't leak. Didn't put the doors on the bottom rail so the doors wouldn't open. They caulked the inside of the door rails so that the water can't flow back into the basin. They leaked oil out of their truck onto my driveway and cleaned up their mess only after I said something.
