    We are extremely disappointed in the services that we received from them after our home flooded in April. In all of our phone calls with Ms. ****, as well as Mr. ******, it was made clear that we only wanted services that our insurance would cover and that we did not want to be out of pocket, and on April 17th, we provided the **** requirements as well as services that were covered under our insurance. Mr. ****** eased our concerns that the only work that would be done was work that would be covered under our FEMA flood policy, and that he was more than familiar with what they covered and the documentation they needed.
    The original invoice that was sent to our field adjuster certainly came as a shock when it was over $7,000 they attempted to bill, and tried to include work that 1) was not included in your estimate and 2) was not covered under insurance. When we originally called the company to come do the water mitigation we truly felt as though they were looking out for us and that customer service was the forefront of your company values, we now realize that they took advantage of our situation as first time homeowners, a military family, and someone completely new to the insurance and repair process by attempting to overcharge us for this work. On top of this, our stud walls were already dry when they came out to start the work. Which is what we hired them to do- so the fact that the team came in to do work that was not even needed by that time completely ruined my faith that they had any intention of “taking care of the customer” and truly feels as though we were taken advantage of us in our unfortunate situation.
    Overall we are extremely disappointed with the services we were provided and will never recommend this company in the future nor will we ever use Roto-Rooter for water mitigation or plumbing.

    On July 30 I had some work done from Rotorooter because my toilet water wasn’t going down and water begin backing up in the tub. They came out snaked my septic and jetted my pipes. They also went on the roof to snake. The cause of the backup was baby wipes not properly disposing. Fasting forward a month later. I had the same issue. We hadn’t used any wipes. We also had been using septic safe toilet paper. I called Rotorooter to come out again to check it out. They told me they saw no wipes in the line which was good. They ended up snaking it again and putting a camera down in the pipes. They advise me to either add a line and clean out or just wait for it to act up again which would cost me another $500 or $2200 for the new line. I decided on the new line thinking it would fix the probelm. It did not fix the probelm at all. My plumbing has acted up a few times since then. We have poured different things in the toilet to get it working again but even still I keep having the same issue. Why even offer that if you can’t fix the problem. I feel like I was conned out of $2200 dollars for something that keep giving me issues. If you can’t fix the issue just say that and I’ll move on to someone else who can. It’s annoying throwing tissue in the trash can and also having to use the bathroom in a bag. Because you just don’t know when it will decided to act up. I’m a single mother, I couldn’t afford to get these pipes replaced to begin with and now I have that bill hanging over my head, while I still need to find a real plumber to fix whatever the true issues are.
