    I had a contact lens exam on May 18, 2022, ************************************* has been providing my prescription for about 6 years now but on this visit he was trying to persuade me to upgrade my lenses to a very expensive brand which I could not afford, I told him that I liked my current brand and I was not interested in upgrading, he did not listen to me and was told me to just try the new ones for free and let him know in a week if I liked them, I left the appointment that day paying $135 for the exam, I did not have a new prescription only samples of the lenses he wanted me to buy, after 3 days I called the office and asked for my prescription I told them I did not like the new lenses he wanted me to try, no one called me back, my prescription was not mailed or emailed to me, I called 3 more times in the next 4 weeks and no response from the office. When I called a fifth time I got the doctor ***************************** on the phone who told me I would have to come in for a new exam? I reminded him that I had moved out of state and he said to me that he could not provide a new prescription for my old lenses and that he would just send me last years prescription, I said that was not right, then please refund my exam costs, which he refused to do. he then emailed me a 2022 prescription which was identical to 2021 prescription. I know my eyesight had changed because my Ophthalmologist provided me with a new eyeglass prescription for this year, so for him to just give me the same prescription as last year was unethical, when I called to complain he said that the exam he gave me was for the expensive lenses, the ones that I told him I did not want.
