We received a gift card this past Christmas and used it at ************** NH for lunch and there was no issue. We show a $38 plus cents dollar value on it and it was declined twice even though there is still a balance. I cant find any information for consumer problems on the Phantom Gourmet website.Business Response

I received an e-Gift Card that has no information about usage, any expiration date, or any other information that there is a Phantom Gourmet time limit. When I checked the balance it read the date of issue: 09/29/2013 and the card balance $50.00 but did not say that it had expired any there was no value. I'm looking for an updated gift card in the amount of $50.00 I could not find any notation on where or whom to contact on the Phantom Gourmet website,Business Response

This issue involves a PHANTOM GOURMET Gift card. I received this as a gift on or about 04/14/2018. It was lost and just recently found along with the gift receipt showing purchase date of 04/13/2018. Upon checking the balance, I found that the balance was zero. PHANTOM states that their cards expire 7 years from purchase. This card # ******* purchased from Stop and Shop store # ** should still be valid according to them. Also I am understanding that gift cards do not expire in **. Either way, this gift card should still show a value of the original purchase price of $50.00. I would greatly appreciate any help in a resolution to this issue. Hello,
If you take the gift card completely off the cardboard backer you will see the full gift card number. It will be 16 digits long beginning with a 6 or a 8. You might not be getting a balance since the number you have submitted is not the card number.
If you would like to take a photo of the back of the card we can assist in confirming the balance.

Hi I was given 2 phantom gourmet gift cards $20 a piece when I try to used the gift cards they said they expired but they don't expired so I couldn't used them I would like to know why or I think this company should give me 2 new ones do they would work I can go to the person and tell them they bought 2 cards that was already expired the person gave me at Xmas time and when I went to used tore my bill of ****** dollars they said they expiredCustomer Answer

My husband, *********************, received a $100 Phantom Gourmet gift card from ******** and **********. The gift cards must have been specially produced because the company name/logo is printed on front of the card along with the Phantom Gourmet logo. We went to Not Your Average ***'s in ****** two weeks ago and they were unable to read the card so we paid for the meal ourselves. About a week and a half ago I submitted the issue on their website and have not received a response. Today I tried calling the phone number, but it rings 3 times and then disconnects. I tried calling the phone number on the BBB site, but that just rings and no one answers. The card does not have a number on it, just the magnetic strip. I am only looking for a replacement card.Business Response

I brought $ 100 gift card on cyber Monday on 11/28/2022 which come with a deal bonus card $20 Card # **************** which valid for 90 days from activation date. on Feb 3, 2023 i was about to used me card. the card said it's expired on Feb 2, 2023 before the 90 days expiration. As a courtesy we have extended that expiration date on that promo card to 5/25/23. The expiration date on that gift card was actually correct as a 90 day promo card, and when checked on the website and in our system showed that it was valid for 90 days of issue as it should have been.
To check balance and get expiration date: ******************************************************************************************************************************
However, there was a glitch on the *** (phone balance check) that provided an incorrect date, which is currently in the process of being resolved. This should all be straightened out now showing that the card # **************** now has an expiration date of 5/25/23. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Have a great day!
