This company works with **** **** to do tests on humans to study allergy medicines. I volunteered to be a test subject, and was told to come in for allergy tests with the results then being on file. In this way, they **** and andover eye associates) would know what I was allergic to and thus which studies I could qualify for, avoiding me having to come in for a study for which I was ineligible. After I took the tests, I got a call from *** inviting me to come in and make $500 for a study. I reminded the caller that there was allergy test info. on file, and the caller said that if I was being asked to come in, this meant I was eligible. However, when I came in, the person at eye associates then said that the records showed I was not eligible. Thus, instead of getting $500 for the study, I would get only $25 for coming in. I subsequently received a check for $25 from **** but it was made out to the wrong person - a *********************! When I called *** to try to straighten this out, the person I called said that she could not take care of it but that the matter would be referred to someone who could, and that person would call me. Several weeks have now gone by and I have not received ant follow-up call.

I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.   This is o.k. but I note that the company only responded after extended delay led BBB to initially list this as not responded to.  *********** then did finally send me check for $100 - they again misspelled my name but I was able to deposit.  They are hopeless incompetent but satisfied my particular demands.
