    I was quoted a price and gave a deposit. The work was to begin on a specific date. The date came and the company was a no show. After trying to get my deposit returned, I was told this happens all the time in business and the company would come another day. I explained to ******, the owner, this was unacceptable. The company decided not to do the work at my home. The company refunded most of my deposit some time later minus $100 for time wasted. I want my $100 returned to me. There is nothing stated in the contract that he keeps $100 for not showing up to work. Thank you.

    The BBB got a voicemail form the business 

    The business owner made two trips to the consumers home, ****** had scheduled two days of work to be done on the property. When the days agreed upon came they were able to due one day but the other was a rainy day and they were unable to complete the work, delaying the business by a day. After this delay the business and consumer couldn't agree on a makeup day commutation, broke down and the business decided to not go further with the consumer and canceled any remaining work to be done. The Business gave the free estimate and an hour and half consolation and the business refunded the deposited amount minus 100 dollars for fees and time spent traveling to the residence house over two days.

    I am rejecting this response because:  the response from the company is not at all accurate. He only made one trip to my home and the work was agreed upon. They were supposed to start on a specific date. There was no talk that it would require more than one day. They failed to show up on the agreed date. The owner stated it happens in business all the time and then decided not to perform the work. He said a refund would follow. I received a refund minus $100 for what as he stated on the bill **** wasted.  There is nothing in the contract that states he receives $100 for time wasted.  He wasted my time on the only day he came to my home. I would like my full refund. Thank you.

    I recently paid $1200 for a "fall clean up service" which was to include fallen leaves removal, pruning of perennial plants and winter fertilizer. The service was to take place over 2 sessions, with the first session costing $800 and the second session costing $400.
    At the first session, the leaves at the time were not fully removed and the plants were not fully pruned. I provided specific instructions for the team member.
    I complained, was told by the owner that the team member "was unsure about some of the work" and we agreed it would be solved at the next session.
    At the second session, the same team member did not finish the leave removal AND perennial plants were physically removed and/or seriously damamged.
