  We first met ***** OConnell when he worked in a big company that did major renovations of our then 110 year old house. All our interactions with him were very pleasant. So, later when he had started his own company, we hired him to rebuild the two flights of brick stairs up to our front door. He did a magnificent job of rebuilding them completely. Then we hired him to turn two small bedrooms into a bedroom/bathroom suite with a bath as well as a shower enclosure and a washbasin with a closet underneath as well as a mirror cabinet. He commissioned all the specialists needed for this work: plumber, electricians, and a tile setter for the floor, walls and shower enclosure. Throughout, he was attentive to our wishes and a pleasure to work with, scrupulously honest, prompt in completing work and moderately priced. We strongly recommend him!

  ***** OConnell has been an outstanding contractor for us. He is an easy person to communicate with and keeps us informed. And he is a delightful human being! He has completed a garage, portico, and walkways for us and will soon be starting a bathroom renovation. He and his crew do excellent work, and there is no one we trust more.

  ***** and his crew @ G OConnell Construction have been doing remodeling at both our Summer home on the Sakonnet River and here in ****** for over ten years now. ***** has an amazing team of carpenters, plumbers, electricians, blue boarders, plasterers, painters and everyone else needed to deliver high-end results no matter how challenging the project, from bathrooms, kitchens to an entire guesthouse remodel at our Summer property we couldnt be happier. ***** and his crew also designed and built a one of a kind hexagon gazebo. It is a showpiece (built from high-grade cedar and mahogany with a unique copper roof cap).We are happy to call ***** our General Contractor and could not be happier with his communication and honesty. At 78, I have worked with many contractors, and ***** is easily best in class. Easily a 10/10 in every category and a great guy to work with.

  ***** and his team at OConnell Construction did a wonderful job in my bathrooms and kitchen renovation on time, on budget and with superb attention to detail. His crew is courteous, detail oriented and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are totally satisfied. I had many special elements that his folks executed to tight specifications. Communications were great, problem solving and flexibility outstanding- a great partner to have for simple as well as complex jobs. Happy I found him, he made my vision a happy reality.

  ***** has done a number of jobs for us over the last few years, including designing and building a deck and a complete interior remodel. He is great to work with from early design stages through permitting snd job completion. He has a lot of design ideas and collaborates and communicates throughout. His team does excellent work and they are only finished when we are completely happy. ***** stands behind his work and is very responsive in following up with corrections, repairs, etc. I recommend ***** 100% as a contractor for any sized job.

  ***** OConnell is the best contractor we have had in the 50 years we have had our home. He did a bathroom renovation for us. He is a wonderful communicator, has excellent design sense, takes full responsibility, follows up, is always available: a true pleasure to work with. He rates 10 stars.

  ***** and his crew replaced our deck late last fall and did excellent work. *****'s design recommendations made the deck so much better than the original! They somehow squeezed the project into their schedule and finished on time and on budget. A pleasure to work with the entire team. Highly recommend!

  ***** and his team did an amazing job on both my front entryway porch and back deck! They replaced the rotting decking, railings, and lattice with composite and even came in under the estimated quote! The workmanship was beautiful and the entire team was professional and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!!! ***********************

  ***** is an outstanding contractor. We live in an historic house with many unique features. As usual with an older house there are many problems that arise. ***** did an amazing job coming up with solutions for all the issues he encountered. We used him and his excellent subs for renovations for almost a year and never had any problems. He communicates daily and explains everything as the project moves forward. We cant recommend him enough.
