    I had a contract with Nordik windows & doors to install 22 windows and 2 doors. They came more than three times to finish the work within one year and they have not succeeded. They keep coming back that they will try to fix but it never happens. At this point in time I want to keep the job the way was done last. There is $8000 pending that I am not willing to pay as the job hasn't been done correctly.

    I have been dealing with shoddy workmanship on four out of six windows for over a year. They have sent people out four or five times now causing me to lose money as I can't work. The remakes are always the wrong window or wrong size. I have told them I want my money on the four defective windows so that I can hire someone to replace or repair them but they ignore my requests. All they do is send emails saying they are making the products. If I don't get my money back I will be filing a complaint in the ** **********************.

    The appointment was on Saturday, April 13, 2024. The contractor came told me if he changed the window. I would still have the same exact problem because the windows are garbage.  He advised me to join the rest of the lawsuits against this company for similar problems. My windows still are not correct. Only 2 or 4 work properly.

    The problem has been corrected. It has not been corrected the windows of garbage. The installer told me they were God, but she said they were cheaply made and that replacing the one I have would just have the same exact problems as when asked. He again came with one of the wrong replacement sashes. So I still have the one with the hole on the top for the spare bedroom. And he never changed the kitchen because he said it didn't make a difference. So yes, I want a refund so I can find somebody to replace these windows because they cannot lock. They have very cheap screens in them. I have to tape the screen so that the cats don't open them and pop them out of my window by accident.

    October 17, 2022 we paid a $1,500 deposit for windows in our duplex (6A and ****************.). My father has been the primary contact for this as he lives on the other side of the duplex and we do these services together. Installation was scheduled for January 17, 2023 and THEY DID NOT SHOW UP or NOTIFY **. My father had to call twice to get in contact with Nordik and they did not know why the installers did not show up. NO CONTACT from Nordik after the fact, so my father emailed them on February 10, 2023 requesting to cancel and receive a refund. NO RESPONSE. My father sent another email on February 19 to which I replied and to further explain our situation, and no response. March 31 I sent another email. Received response same day from ***************************, Installation Supervisor asking for my father to call. He has since called multiple times and can't get through. He has gone to the local Nordik office (*********, **) and has still not been able to resolve this. We cannot get in contact with them and they have not completed service. We simply want to cancel and get our money back. Note that they had to come and measure TWICE because they claim that the first person who measured was "inexperienced" and "lied about his experience", so he was let go. My parents are elderly and we have wasted hours of our busy lives on this with no resolution in sight. Please help us get our money back so that we can move on with our lives. There is no other resolution that we will accept from the company.
