      On 12/29/23, I paid a deposit of $382 to HomeWiz towards the installation of an outlet for an EV car charger after being given an estimate of $800-1200. The HomeWiz electrician came to my home on 1/9/24 to do the job and told me that the installation would cost $6,590. I gave him my credit card but almost immediately began to regret this and told him that I did not want to proceed with the job because the pricing seemed so out of line. I told him that I would pay him for his time which was less than an hour. He told me the charge would be $******. I assumed that the deposit would be deducted and that I would pay him $331.22 (****** minus the initial deposit of $382). I was never given a receipt that detailed what the $****** entailed. I was not given a credit card receipt either. I later discovered that the deposit had not been deducted so that I have paid a total of ******** for nothing.On 1/16/24, I contacted HomeWiz by phone to discuss this. I was told that they do not itemize their services so that information on the $****** charge would not be forthcoming. I was also told that part of the charge would have to do with having already ordered equipment for the job that could not be cancelled. It is hard for me to believe that within the brief period of time that HomeWiz was on the premises, equipment was ordered and could not be cancelled. The person I spoke with today informed me that he would have no further discussion with **** am seeking an itemized explanation of the amount of money paid and a billing adjustment.

      The customer paid for us to come to their home and agreed to our terms and conditions on a recorded call to install a car charger. Unfortunately, the customer simplified the job over the phone. Upon arrival, this job was nowhere close to what was described on the phone previously. The customers electrical panel was approx. 80' from where she wanted to install the car charger.  Also, the wiring would have to be fished. The electrical panels were overloaded and needed to be manipulated as well. Despite our findings, the customer signed a flat rate, upfront price contract # ****,  Invoice# **** as well as a credit card receipt and agreed to a job for an amount of $6590.00 to be commenced immediately. The job commenced immediately with multiple people. Special ordered material was ordered and picked up by different personal as well. After about 3 hours of time at her house, the customer demanded a stop work order stating she changed her mind. The customer agreed that we return her money less the amount of work we had put into the job. Her money was returned and an additional signature was obtained for the time on the premises. She was recharged appropriately including credit card fees, material purchased, work done by multiple people at an amount of $713.22. This was all presented to the customer in writing while on her premises. Once again, the customer had agreed as she signed and agreed to terms and conditions. Now , she is once again reneging on her commitment. HomeWiz trucks have GPS navigation to confirm work time on customers premises.  All of HomeWiz calls are recorded per FCC rules and regulations for verification. In total, HomeWiz obtained 4 signatures that day stating she was complete and satisfied. The customer later called inquiring about the situation. We stated that we remain committed to her job if she would like to continue with the work. The customer was belligerent and threatening as she hung up the phone.
