    I had hired C&C Moves to move my belongings on March 3. I have attached the emails that had gone back and forth ahead of the move. no invoice or bill of laden provided. after the move, there was damage to the items in the pictures attached. At no time did the movers advise of the damages but rather I had to find out on my own. The dresser that is in question, was in good condition. The movers told me they had to wrap it but made no statement to advise that the item would break apart. As the movers were moving the items from my originating location i had gone to the bank to pay the 50% cash for the move. i came back and my dresser which was when i left, standing in the living room, was now in a pile. You can see in the images that this may have been an attempt to break down the dresser there is minimal damage to the pieces so it doesn't appear that it just fell apart as stated by the owner of C&C Moves, What i was advised of when returning was that the dresser was done. I checked my apartment and saw the broken dresser. the moves said nothing to me about how it broke. they closed the door to the truck and prepared to depart. for the bunk bed stairs, after being w the movers for double the estimated time, decided to put the bunk bed together myself with help. the stairs came in in 2 pieces and drawers separately. When put together saw that the top (step) was missing. I have reported all the damages and provided pictures and even offered to provide more. they have only owned the broken lamp even with documentation. of all the other damage/broken items. The company has refused to provide compensation for damaged items and is now refusing to provide their insurance information for me to file a claim. I am seeking fair compensation for the damaged items depicted, if this be through the company or through their insurance company. I would like to resolve this rather than continue to go back and forth with the company as it is at an impasse (email attached.)

    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. I want to settle this at fair compensation and would like their insurance company info

    We used them for our move from *****, ** to *******, **. Me and the wonder were corresponding via email and settled in an estimate of about 450 dollars for 2 hours - but was anticipating more at 150 an hour. It took about 3.5 came out to 675. They would ONLY take cash. And will not give me a receipt. They broke our couch and is blaming my boyfriend and myself because we told them to get the couch in. The back wood of the couch snapped as well as rips on that spot and the corners. There is also a stain on the couch from the door. Not only did that not happen- the men wanted to try one more thing. The owner is saying we are to fault and will not pay for the damage. I have been emailing asking for them to pay for repair and he does not believe it was a reasonable solution. Not he will not give me a receipt until there is a solution. They also ripped our hassock a bit as well. And refuse to fix anything.
