    We reached out to the new Danvers location of The Doggie Depot to set up an evaluation for our dog. We were informed that because our dog is part Pit Bull, they would not allow him to be evaluated or participate in their daycare or boarding program. This decision was made solely based on his breed, without any opportunity to assess his temperament.A dog daycare should not discriminate against specific breeds. Evaluations are meant to determine if a dog is a good fit for the environment, and my dog was never given that chance. ****, the owner, should be ashamed of this breed-based discrimination. As the owner of a dog boarding facility, he should be advocating against such prejudices, not enforcing them.I strongly discourage anyone from using The Doggie Depot, as their policies reflect a lack of education and experience.
