      I been with eastern bank since 2022 when I first got this bank there has been No issue but ever since last year its been an issues. I called because I notice a charge on my card.. before I go into detail the girl just closed my account. I told her u didnt even ask my information or the cause u just shut my card down then shes like I have to close the card because u dont Notice the charge u gotta go to the bank to get a new card. Earlier this month Im trying to add money to my bus card and I was declined why because they notice suspicious activity on my account I always keep up with my card and account information they cant call and asked whats going on beside just blocking my card. Then Im out to eat with friends and what happened it happened again my Card is declining which makes no sense if I had money in my account. I know if u enter the wrong pin u can block the account but they just be blocking with out even asking. Another thing is there customer service is horrible I know people go home but ur telling there is no 24 hour customer service.. u can only speak to the people who deal with fraudulent or lost cards? Now I gotta wait until 9am to call them to unblock my card. I got stuff to do and this was not part of this. Im gonna go with another bank because I cant be out and because they see something going on they block my card its embarrassing especially if I used the card earlier in the day

      This bank has the worst debit card possible, its embarrassing when my debit card doesnt work 3 times and you have to wait to swipe, everywhere I go knows its eastern bank. Get with the program either make you debit cards like the thick credit cards or allow tap pay. Eastern bank is so behind the times.

      The new Software for Online Banking is terrible. I had to dump the App it was so bad. If you get locked out of your account on weekends forget it. There is no live coverage and the automated system does not cover that. I am shocked at the poor customer service after hours.

      terrible so far. Our bank combined with Eastern. They cannot provide back statements. They have an incorrect phone number listed for help. They do not directly list the phone number for branches. At least one check seems to have gone astray.

      Terrible customer service! they sent my money to unclaimed money with the state and wont help at all getting it back, they acknowledged it was their error. The state says its a matter of sending a form to get the money back. You have been warned stay clear of this bank.

      Terrible customer service!!! The assistant manager called me a scam artist and then tried to deny it after I called her on it!! Taken my business somewhere else!!
