I had an account with ********************** and my employer deposited $2000 into the account last week. I can no longer access the account and I have submitted complaints to the business with no response. I have no way of accessing this money and my debit card is not working. On April 24th of 2023, I received my Envel debit card in the mail and activated it. I proceeded to add $217 to my account for which I intended to put towards a hotel room and food as I was speaking at a youth convention the following night. Some time between me activating my card and me leaving the event center, my card had been accessed, presumably by a youth at the event, and every ***** I had loaded was taken off. My billfold was left in my jacket on a community coat rack unintentionally. The following day, I noticed the charges on my account and subsequently contacted Envel support to dispute the transactions. At first, I was given the usual victims empathy, followed by an email informing me that envel would no longer offer me services. Okay, I'll bite the bullet on that one, they have to protect their company as an asset and I understand 100%. Upon attempting to reaffirm that the dispute investigation was still going to be underway, I was ignored. I wasn't ushered the slightest civil decency in the matter, and I assumed they weren't going to investigate on my behalf, which I felt to be wrong, but I'm only one guy nonetheless so what was I to do? I reached out to the merchant myself and informed them that my card had been used on their platform in a series of fraudulent transactions. Two weeks goes by, I hear nothing. Today, may 11th, I recieve a correspondence from the merchant notifying me that charge backs had been issued on all of the transactions and were returned to my account. Well, ********************** has closed my account. And even after signing in to the app, I see the funds are not there. Regardless of the charge back, Envel violated Federal Regulation E as they only had 10 days to dissolve the issue or issue me a credit. None of which they did. I have tried to contact them on all channels to no avail. Even if they issued me a credit, it'd be in violation of regulation E by not allowing me access to the funds. Envel closed my account with $600 in it they will not send me a check for the balance and said they will send to bank in file with is no longer open.. the money was going towards my daughter little sister headstone for her grave which she still doesnt have we did 2 fundraiser for her to have a headstone for them just to take it she was only 10yrs old we deserve this money back they want even tell me why it was closed Please someone help us in this time of need thank you for your time and help have a blessed dayBusiness Response

Hello I have intiated a transfer over to my envel account from my jelli account! They took my money out and locked my account I can't touch it. The only reason why I sent the *** transfer is because I didn't have my jelli card and I've sent them all that proof I sent them i had active funds they took from my account It's something I can't touch and I'm very scared and sad they are trying to steal my money I did nothing wrong but send money over to envel that I now can't touch because of them !!! I've sent my Id social everything they asked from me still not to hear back But on Thursday 19th they was responding before it settled but now that my money is settled they won't answer me or respond I been trying to message them repeatedly and honestly at this point I want that ENVEL ACCOUNT CLOSED !!! I DONT WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM I HAVE NO TRUST IN THAT APP ANYMORE AND AFRAID THEY ARE TRYING TO TAKE MY HARD WORKING FUNDS !!!!!Business Response

I opened the account months ago and have used it multiple times recently using my debit card. One day out of no where my card gets locked and I was trying to contact their support for days but no reply. My money was locked on the card and the account . When they finally replied I did everything they asked and was told they my work was incorrect and that they are no longer to offer me services and they closed my account and said they will send a cashiers check . I am late on my bills and everything because that was all I had . And today I still havent received a notification or anything saying that my check was sent out .Business Response

This company has frozen my account with no notice and no way to in freeze. They have not responded to my email and chat conversations. I have $229.48 on my account and want my funds immediately. I want to make a complaint about Envel bank I believe those people are scammers you can never get in touch with them through chat even though they advise you the chat to contact them I filed a dispute of atm transactions money wasnt dispense they gave me a provisional credit &.
