On August 7th I went to Lord ****'s to purchase a case of chicken leg quarters and requested that they be cut in half. Due to my visual disability I was under the impression that I got both the drum stick and thigh in bags. I also purchased an additional *********************************************************************** half as well (separated the leg from the thigh). I dropped the packages off to someone to have the chicken cleaned in order to be ready to be prepared and sold as a part of a dinner on Saturday August 10th. I received a voicemail on the 10th stating that there were only drum sticks in the bags and no thighs. I called the business on Saturday to explain this to them and they asked me to find my receipt to see what It says. My home maker did find the receipt and today August 12th my volunteer was reading the receipt and it only specifies meat without any description as to what the meat was. I called the business twice, the first time I was hung up on by ***** the meat manager and I spoke to the General Manager and he was stating I need to bring the product back. All I was asking was for them to adjust the difference in the price between leg quarters vs just drum sticks. Because that was an error on their part not mine. He was still adamant about retiring product, I don't know how they expected that to be possible as the drumsticks were sold on Saturday. The resolution I am seeking is to credit my card the difference between the cost of leg quarter cases vs drumsticks only. On the receipt it does indicate that I needed to pay $5 to have the leg quarters cut in half. I do have witnesses who can verify there were only drum sticks in the bags.
