On 9/20 my husband, myself, and another coworker parked in this garage. We have a pass through our place of employment. We needed to use valet as there were no other parking options, even at 7 am. All things were working fine that morning in the car. My husband used the rear passenger, drivers side door to get his things in and out of the car. We returned to the car later in the day 5:15-5:30 and there was something wrong with the door. It did not want to open and made a horrible noise. We did not observe any external damage, but it sounded like something was rubbing. At that point we thought that there was just a misalignment and it is a newer car and we almost never use that door. We were able to get it into the dealer on 9/8 and learned that there was a significant amount of damage done to the car. It had been hit on the internal side of the door (no clue how). As soon as we received this information we attempted to contact the garage to discuss the issue with them. It was a weekend, we were told that a manager would be back on Monday. We called Monday and were told it was a holiday and to bring the car in to be looked at on Tuesday and a manager would be available from 8-3. We went to the office as instructed and were told that the manager was not in and he would be back in 20 minutes. I requested a phone # and contacted the phone number and was given a complete run around. I was finally given the managers phone # and have been calling that number and the main number since that time to discuss this with them. There is no way to leave a message, mail-box is full and there has been no response. I have contacted the PD who states that it is an issue between us and the garage- although I did file a report. I have also contacted our insurance company. I think that it is disgusting that a business would not only not report this to an owner, but also avoid a consumer like this. It will require 1000's of dollars to fix this... that is why they have insurance.
