      Winn residential has not contacted me for 3 weeks, now going on a month since I dropped off the paperwork required to get an apartment equipped and wheelchair accessible. Also, the automatic doors with the wheelchair button to push do not work. The elevator fails constantly. Twice I have had to go down 4 floors of steps on my a** ************** has been notified multiple times over the past several months and nothing has been done to make repairs. Terrible maintenance service.

      Winn Residential is horrible. They leased Pasadena Studios at ********************************** to low income, elderly and disable people while the building was under construction with many habitable issues. Winn Residential does not follow local, state, federal housing laws. LIHTC properties are rented at higher rent to make profit. Very disappointed in the management.

      The property named Villages of ************ goes neglected. I have tried to make a complaint to the leasing office regarding loud music, mice running rampant (I have caught at least 6, two just last night), and a toilet running nonstop for a week, with little to no hot water. I had called their leasing office 3 times within a week to have the issue dealt with and was met with disrespect, lack of empathy, and no sense of urgency. I cannot stand people in this world who give excuses for unacceptable matters or conditions. I am not asking for a lot. I am asking for a decent, safe and livable home, free of rodents and broken utilities. I pay rent, I am a single mother, and it's disgusting to be put in a situation where I am unheard and taken advantage of.

      Since I have been a resident here, I have been threatened, retaliated against, verbally accosted, and illegally charged for services in violation of my lease terms. The mngmt team told me to continue paying for these services or I would be evicted due to non-payment. In retaliation, they have ceased all maintenance work on my apartment. Additionally, maintenance has taped my windows with blue painters tape in response to the windows lacking proper sealant. The maintenance team has also caulked my windows which is a likely fire hazard. My sons medical conditions have been purposely compromised. I have repeatedly expressed my sons medical conditions are exacerbated by the leaky windows, moldy and bacteria filled pipes, and dirty, stained air vents, and I was told that the best thing for my son was to expose him to the dangerous elements to build up his tolerance. I have put in several service requests, and they are marked as request cancelled or they disappear altogether. In November, I received a notice that my account was adjusted but the mgnt team refuses to tell me what was altered. The property management team tried to coerce and intimidate me into signing a new lease, then demanded I sign lease amendments immediately or face eviction. The asst. **** got very angry and has verbally accosted me. Even more alarming, the asst **** kept walking past my past apartment, staring into my ring camera. This was very threatening. The new assistant manager has sexually propositioned by husband asking if they can be special friends?. This was done in the manner of you want something, I want something in return. I just want to be credited for the water bills that they have added to my rent that is in violation of my lease terms, I dont want to be charged for water for the duration of my lease term, I want to know what was altered on my account, and I want all the harassing and illegal behaviors to stop.

      I live in Apts in **********. My sink was moldy mosquito infested and stunk for 8 months. I wrote letters, called, visited and was not responded to. I was discriminated against and they moved a fridge to the apt above me but wouldn't fix my sink. I reached out to code inforcement then they wanted to fix it.My dishwasher flooded. Never heard back and it's going on month 8 as well. They hold my checks and give me 3 day notices for non payment. When I show records that they have them they got cashed. Now they won't cash them they just send them back to the bank. I have nearly $2000 in checks they have sent back. I have records from my bank. My records have been messed up and **** will not fix them. I have credit on my account but they will not fix it and say I am short money.A manager stole money from the renters, a manager ilenters without permission. Maintenance harassed me. ****** harassed me, the manager only cared about her job she didn't car about how inwas living. They went through my home unannounced we t through my things wrote on my stuff and stole medications. I have police reports.Terrible company that does not care about its tenants. I have been here 5 years and can't afford to move. It's terrible what I have to go through.

      ******************* has left two properties without air conditioning for nearly two months. Temperatures have been exceeding 90 degrees and many elderly residents live in the buildings. Exposed wires and pipes left exposed for months at dangerously low levels.Police need to investigate lack of accountability for endangering it's residents.

      I am medically retired from the Army due to injuries sustained in **** and ***********. I tried to apply to *********************** on *************************** but was told I do not qualify in the Retired category. They only see 20+ years of service as retirement but would not give me the company policy that states that. I tried to point out that my DD214 states Retirment on it. I offered my retirement orders, retirement certificate, and even the Army Regulation that states I am retired but was ignored. When I tried to get the contact information for someone other than the leasing agent I was promptly refused. This ongoing experience has caused me great stress and deprived me of a service I earned due to discrimination.

      Winn Companies installed a horribly designed sprinkler system in our apartment, which burst in a cold snap and they are accepting zero liability for the incident

      Winn Companies is the Mgmt. Agent for the building (******* *********** ********) that I live in and they are horrible. There is a office on site, however they have 2 individuals working in the Office that has no idea or clue of what's going on or even how to manage anything. They have no respect for the way they speak to Tenants and are down out nasty individuals. Several Tenants have complaints, but there is no one to complain to. They are not capable of doing anything pertaining to HUD. They are rued to everyone and when you call the Office they are nasty and will even hang up the phone on you. This has been an on going problem with the property (******* ***.) since the property was sold in 2016 and was then transitioning to a LIHTC BLDG. The turn around with staffing in the office is horrific. The 2 individuals that are in the office at this time, they are the 6th or 7th set of employees. This is a problem because when you are dealing with families lively hood and housing, you would think that they would be a little more careful with whom they hire when it comes to families personal information. The 2 individuals that are in the office now they are always loosing important paperwork, not knowledgeable with Recertification, adjusting rents and they are just creating more problems for the families. Let's not talk about how the building is filthy and is not being cleaned properly on a daily basis, repairs not being done in a timely manner, in fact some families have been waiting over a year for repairs. Garbage is always piled up in the Garbage Room and the smell along with pest infectation, just to name a few of the many issue that the tenant's are facing.
      Tenant's not being notify in timely manner when there isn't going to be heat and hot water especially when the temperature outside is very frigid. Things are so bad that the Tenants are seeking help to get qualified Mgmt.

      Hi, I moved into an apartment in December, of 21, and have been here for the last almost 8 months, and its been nothing but hell! As a person with a disability, legally blind may I add, there have been mice since I've moved in here...... This s*** is unbelievably disgusting, they obviously don't care about their tenants, all they care about is their rent money, they won't do anything to fix ****, until I've had a worker from the state come by my apartment, and she's even called on several occasions...... I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone! They are a laughing stock to the rental company community! Lol...... But let it be their house, their home, they'll do everything they could to fix theirs, right? SMDH! A f****** joke/shit show! Also, rent prices shouldn't be no more then 200 but they want 2 something? These apartments aren't worthy, to make love in....... SMdh...............
