    I've known *****, the owner of Revenue Boomers, for three years, primarily as a professional friend. I recently had the opportunity to refer him to a high-level venture capitalist who is my partner in several businesses. After an exhaustive interview process, I was thrilled that my partner agreed that Revenue Boomers was the right digital marketing agency for us and was hopeful that we were beginning a long-term relationship that would bring Cliff years of business in a variety of industries. As soon as the deposit was paid, *****'s tone with me, his primary contact for deliverables, changed. He became dismissive, derisive, and extremely disrespectful. He missed deadlines, his creative was straight out of ****, his grasp on my brand message was way off. Worst of all - he turned it all around and blamed me, firing me as a client the night before Thanksgiving because I challenged the quality of his work. I asked him to stop contacting me. A few days later, he tried to reengage with insults and demands. When I refused to play his game - he said he had sent record of our text conversations to my partner, who would be "dealing with me". I've dealt with misogyny many times in my life, this was beyond the pale. Not only did ***** ruin a relationship that could have yielded him six-figures, he embarrassed himself in front of a very powerful C-suite executive with many contacts - all in the name of fragile male ego. Incidentally - my partner never mentioned *****'s name to me again. His attempt at a venomous load turned out to be full of blanks...
