      Business Response

      Date: 01/09/2024

The following communication has been sent to the student regarding their request for refund. The date for program withdrawal to be eligible for refund is 10 business days as indicated on the enrollment agreement (which was signed by the student).

The student had withdrawn from the ***** program on December 22 2023. The program started on January 5, ****. There are two national holidays (Christmas December 25, 2023 and New Years January 1 ****) which the schools are closed and staff are not working. Therefore, there are only 8 business ahead of the course. This confirms that the student is not eligible for a refund based on the signed enrollment agreements.
However, Teaching House has extended a refund for the tuition portion of the program ($2,195).
The student has agreed to the above refund and has signed the refund confirmation letter.

      Good morning *****,

I hope you are doing well. I am contacting regarding your recent withdrawal from the ***** course set to start on January 5, ****.

As you can imagine, ahead of a new course starting and the holidays, we received your withdrawal request all within a short period of time. The standard notice of withdrawal to be eligible for a refund is 10 business days or more ahead of the commencement of a course.

As your request had come in just before the holidays, our team had reviewed the calendar and confirmed that your withdrawal request had fallen within less than 10 business days considering the Christmas and New Year national holidays.

Considering this, it is expectational that we have two national holidays throughout the year so close together. Teaching House will make an expectation in this case and extend the refund for the tuition of the program ($2,195) not including the $200 registration fee (non-refundable).
Our administrative team will send a refund withdrawal letter via email for your confirmation. The refund will be returned to the original payment method.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to let us know.
      Thank you,
