    My 86-year-old mother was driving on the highway when a stone kicked up and cracked her windshield. She had that repaired by another shop but noticed what appeared to be a scratch on the hood of the car that was directly in the path of the stone that hit her windshield. She took it to Angels Touch and they looked over the "scratch" and provided her with a very detailed estimate that came to over $1,800.On the same day, she stopped by a friend's house and told her about the estimate. Shocked by the amount, they went outside to take a look at it. My mother wet her fingers to clean the area only to find that the scratch was nothing but a streak of ********, I would think that if I were an autobody shop owner and I wanted to get a good understanding of the damage, I would first clean away any dirt from the area. Had I seen this, that would have been the very first thing that I would have done!Now, I will not make any accusations. But I would expect that if an 86-year-old woman came into my shop, I would have done a better job to take a better look at the damaged area and would have taken the time to explain the estimate. Had this been done, they would have realized that there was no damage and no need for an estimate. Needless to say, I am extremely upset and believe that their lack of due diligence to be very concerning to anyone.

    I am writing to reveal my disappointment with the repair estimate and invoice for charges associated with the repair quote.First thing is the estimate, your repair estimate of $12,100.00 pushed the value of car vs repair over the allowable repair guidelines and made it a total loss. After I picked up my car from your facility I brought it to Wenzels Auto Body and they quoted $4,300.00 for the same repair with no charge for the estimate.I now have to go through the process of applying for a salvage title with the **** DOT after the repairs are complete and deal with issues associated with a salvage title.Secondly your charge of $485.00 for the estimate was unexpected and extremely high.I chose your repair shop after searching and reading reviews from your customers and thought I had made a good choice. Please review my complaint and let me know if you can offer a remedy for this situation.********* called me back and stated all charges were accurate and she should have doubled them to included storage fees. Will never recommend Angels Touch, more like Satan's.
