Architect failed to file mandatory requirements for the Permit applied at *************. The payment terms agreed under clause 7, phase-1 of the signed contract (uploaded) requires the Architect to refund advance payment ($1500) in following situations:a) Clients experience with satisfactory progress with agreed timeframes as communicated in chats or emails. (My experience has been quite dissatisfactory given his lack of attention to details - was ready to apply permit without taking measurements, complete lack of transpar/ency in the permit process)b) Client review and acceptance of ***************** and Plan (Architect went ahead submitting the permit without my review/authorization, that is even after constant reminders to confirm Town's Permit requirements that yieldd to incomplete permit application - images attached that shows mandatory requirements were missing - overall delays with an attitude to somehow just make quick money even if the permit fails))c) All required paperwork, requirements for the Town Permit are complete and successfully accepted by the Town of ********,(I called the Town to confirm the list of artifacts submitted by the Architect - the Town was not even able to open the documentss submitted putting the permit application on Admin Hold. The permit aplication missed important, mandatory requirements e.g. (i) ******************************* forms required by the Town, (ii) Missing Client Authorization that was for me to ensure the thorughness of Architect's application, which Architect tried to evade. Overall lack of care and transparency shown in the attention required for the scope of the basement extension, which involves delicate structural engineering details never shared in a plan as expected) - **** design work shared that lacked professional quality and looked more like rough design done on the back of an envelop).
