    I consigned 3 of my bags with this business on 1/11/2025. In mid May, I went to ***************** where the store was located. This store closed down and stole my bags which totaled to $1750 in value. I reached out via the 2 phone numbers, email, Instagram, and ******** messenger. My messages were left unread and unanswered. I want to retrieve my bags. After some research, there are several others who posted online that the same thing happen to them with this business.

    *Complaint Report: Bags R Riches**Date:* December 30, 2024 *Business Name:* Bags R Riches *Location:* inside the ********************** in ************ *Description of Issue:*I am writing to report a serious issue with Bags R Riches, a consignment store. On December 30, 2024, I visited the store to collect my unsold consigned items. Upon inspection, I discovered that one of my handbags was missing. *******, the store representative, informed me that he had traded my handbag for another bag without my knowledge or consent.Initially, ******* offered to compensate me $600 for the missing handbag. However, he later reneged on this offer. The situation escalated when ******* began sending me hostile and racist messages, including derogatory comments and threats. Diverting from paying me he has resorted to claiming that he will bill me for security installation costs, credit fees, and other expenses (expenses that were not in our contract).Furthermore, ********* mother intervened, pressuring me to provide my Social Security number (SSN). She threatened that if I didn't comply, ******* would report me to the IRS.*Desired Resolution:*I request that the BBB assist me in resolving this matter. I seek:1. Compensation for the missing handbag 2. An apology for the racist and threatening messages 3. Assurance that the business will not attempt to bill me for unauthorized expenses 4.     This is in regards to a complaint made by ******** ******, I am not the person who is the owner, this is my son, he is in the hospital and cannot talk to anybody right now, but I am very familiar with this woman because I am the mother in in question that she wrote in here and she has been paid long time ago for this and the situation was that she came in and took all her consignments when the owner was not even there and she had a contract to leave her things there for 30 days. He had a right to have that time in order to sell her bag and to pay her so she got paid Before the amount of time that was necessary for her to be paid and no one called her racist names. She in fact this white Jewish woman called my son racist names and had racist remarks that I saw the stream of text messages. My son is a black man, this is just outrageous what she wrote here, and he has a right to have her social security number because she did business with him and he was supposed to receive a 1099 form. So I did try to get that social security number from her, which she had told us that she would give us and then she was denying the giving him that which can cause him problems with his income tax filing. Uh, my numbers ************, thank you
