    We paid for a deep cleaning of our dryer vent, and the Mass Air Duct Cleaning technician came out on 7/14/24 to complete the service. We have a long duct that runs up through the attic over the primary bathroom ceiling and to a vent in the back of the house. Our dryer is brand new (purchased on 7/7/24) and was sensing that the duct was 95% blocked. After the cleaning, the dryer was still sensing the vent was 95% blocked so we called to have the technician come back out.The technician came on 7/16/24 and was extremely rude, saying he cleaned the duct. I mentioned that we have a long duct and what I could see from the tool, it was likely not cleaning all the way through. He would not listen and he also refused to inspect the duct system or touch the vent on the outside of the house. He cleaned the duct again, and I asked him to stay as I ran the dryer to show him the error but he did not stay the whole time. The dryer now is showing an 80% block in the duct so we know there is still an issue to fix. We called again on 7/17/24 and 7/18/24 and they said the technicians manager would be in touch with us within ***** hours. Nobody has returned our calls and they are saying they completed the deep cleaning of the vent.

    Hired MassAir Duct Cleaning to perform a chimney inspection and cleaning. Only hired them as they were able to come out the soonest. Discussed the fee $69 for an inspection and $99 for a cleaning on the phone at time of booking. Insured that if any additional work was to be performed the price would be shared before service was rendered. Tech shows up unprepared in an unmarked van without necessary equipment (even a trash bag or dust pan) does not inspect the chimney or discuss fees. Uses a drill to "clean out" the chimney that does not reach any where near the top. Then proceeds to write a bill on a preprinted invoice that doesn't even have chimneys as an option for $375! No inspection report, no discussion of findings, nothing. I have called 5 times now to speak to a manager and each person gives a different reason on why they are not available with 2 hanging up on me. One person offered to send a tech out for additional service. I do not want these people near my house ever again. I offered to settle the dispute for the quoted price and was then left on hold before being hung up on (the second time). This company is unprofessional, unsafe, and unethical.
