      I booked this for my 18 year old to.stay in ******. I called back within 23 hours to get information about a shuttle service from the airport. Thr guy over the phone said I was booked at the other location which is four hours away. I told him that won't work and I need a refund. **** refused to refund me because it's against there 14 day cancelation policy. They won't let me speak to a manager as well. They older man I spoke to refused to give me his name. I fell.this company is a scam and take people's money. They have no customer service either. I have never dealt with any company like this. I want my money back and I don't want anyone else to be scanned by then either. They take your money and they are hours away at a different location. They tried telling me it's a mile away but its actually four hours. I can't believe how they get away with this. Thank you

      This guest booked a room at our 1750 Beacon Street location in *********, ** directly on our website.   Before booking, the address of the building is listed clearly. The cancellation policy is also clearly posted before booking stating that with 14 days, the deposit for the room is non-refundable. The deposit is the amount of the first night. The guest then called us and indicated wanting to be switched to our other location at 1087 Beacon St, also in *********, **. As we were sold out for the nights of the stay at 1087 Beacon St, we were not able to move her location. She then wanted to cancel for free, we let her know that we were unable to provide a free cancellation, but that the locations are between 1 and 2 miles apart (exactly 1.6 miles apart). The guest was unhappy with the fact that she was not receiving a free cancellation.

      The reservation was cancelled less than 14 days prior to check-in, thus forfeiting the first nights deposit per our cancellation policy ( see attached exhibit to see our policy stated on our website).
      It is not our intention to issue any refunds.

      When booking on there website i googled The Beaconn Inn 1064. Nowhere wss listed that I saw the other location. It was within hours of booking I got the confirmation email saying BEWARE at the top of it saying this might of been booked at their other location. I immediately called. I kept calling whuch I was blown off several times because the guy kept saying we will call you back in which he never did. So that evening i called back spoke to another man and he was SO RUDE and mean. I have never dealt with such a unprofessional establishment in my life. He refused to let me talk to anyone in management. He wouldnt give me his name at all. Then he told me they canceled my reservation without refunding me. I still havent recieved a cancelation email. This reservation was still 6 days from traveling and they could of easily refunded me and treated me alot better then they did. I slso have read online about how cruel and unprofessional they are at this establishment. They should be embarrassed the way they speak and treat their customers. They have no customer service skills at all what so ever. I want my son to get refunded what they charged him. He didnt stay there and it is their misleading website that did this. I also emailed the company with no email back as well. They shouldnt be in buisness at all for talking to woman the way they do. Thank you

      We, at the Beacon Inn, train our employees to handle all situations in the most professional and kind manner. We dispute this characterization of our staff as described by the guest.

      I am attaching the email conformation that says on it twice locations you have. On my booking it doesn't say in at the other location. When I googled your buisness I googled The Beaconn Inn 1064. You can say whatever you want to get out of how you spoke and treated me was absolutely horrible. Customers should never be spoke to the way I was treated. I said I would let you know if I wanted to cancel that booking since you refused to credit me back. Then I learned after calling you canceled it without giving you permission too. I still haven't received a cancelation email. You don't treat your guests kind at all. You talk to them in a threatening and demeaning way. You took my money and didn't care about which location you booked it. It's a nice way to scam customers. Your reviews are absolutely appalling online about how rude your employees talk and treat customers. You should be embarrassed of taking money from customers from your mistake.
