      At some point in the past, I worked for a hospital that uses Everbridge, *** to notify employees regarding inclement weather. I have left that employer (unknown which hospital), but two days ago I received a phone call that I answered and no one talked. Hanging up, I received a text a few minutes later telling me of the inclement weather. I replied "STOP" and blocked the caller. A half hour later I received another text from a different number saying it was the same company telling me of inclement weather. I replied "STOP" and blocked the number. Then another call. I listened to it and it was recorded, no way to opt out. I blocked it. I found the email for support and was told that I had to contact the employer to have me taken of the list. I told ******* ******* that his company was calling me, I considered it harassment and wanted it stopped. Then I added I am filing a complaint with the BBB and the ***.

      I have called Palm Beach *************************** as Everbridge is the vendor that was hired to make calls about an emergency. I did not opt in nor did I give my number to be called. ***************** does not know where they get the information. I want to know where the information came from and who authorized the call.

      I signed up through nixle to receive local alerts for traffic and weather in area code *****. when i moved to a new area, i signed up to get local alerts for ***** (St ******, ****) and stopped the alerts to *****. all was good until i tried to unsubscribe from the ***** alerts. it didn't work. i finally just had the phone alerts blocked and i send the **** (************** ****************** emails go to spam. my nixle account has no ***** references and i deleted my everbridge account, but i am still receiving emails from ****. There is no customer service for users. I tried calling the 888 number, but no one ever answered and some of the options don't even work. there is no customer service email. i have submitted several "tickets" through nixle, but no one ever follows up and since i don't have an everbridge account, i can't even check on the status of the ticket. and, no, there doesn't seem to be a way to signup for an everbridge account. this has been going on for months. Also, since I signed up my husband for these alerts, he is still receiving emails and texts. this is terrible customer service and a terrible way to treat customers.
