I rented a tuxedo from ********************* the owner and operator of Main Event Tuxedo on 10/1 for a wedding on 10/15. I was not allowed to try on before the wedding because he did not have the time. I opened the tux on the day of the wedding and the sole of the shoe was detached from the upper. I sent him a picture and he played it off as if I had broken the shoe. When it came time to return the tux, I went and he was not there. I went on 10/17 two days after the wedding during his posted business hours and he was not there. I was sent a ***** rude text demanding I bring it back that night which I could not. I sent my wife the next day during hi posted business hours and again he was not there. I then received another text message from the owner *****, this time very rude and disrespectful. I confronted him about being rude and disrespectful and he made physical threats and said he was "old school" and he "could make one phone call" and take care of me. I have the texts. He then said he was charging the ****** credit card with late fees and would not refund me for the shoes. Honestly, I do not know where else to turn. It is not right for a business owner to disrespect customers like that and to make physical and implied threats is completely overboard.
