Over a month ago I answered a call from the area code my mother lives in because she is elderly and was going through a elevated health issue at the name. On the other end of the phone was ***** from Veracode. I politely informed him whatever it was, I wasn't interested. I kept seeing multiple times a day, different numbers from the same area code, most of the time coming from ******, **, a town I've never been to despite living in ************ for over 40 years come through. I decided to test a theory, and picked up. Lo and behold, it's ***** from Veracode, same voice, same pitch. I cut him off and explained we'd spoken before and I wasn't interested. I asked if this was a legal matter, and when he said it was not, I explained that the only reason I answered before was because of the area code and mom's health, that I wanted him to lose my number and his multiple daily calls were bordering on harassment. Over 3 weeks since the 2nd call, I'm still receiving multiple calls a day that are identified as spam, same area code, more often than not from ******, **. Today, my mother is dealing with another minor crisis, I'm expecting to hear from her caregiver, and I get a call from her area code (not ******, ** though ********* Ferry this time). It's ***** from Veracode. So I asked him how to spell Veracode and told him in so uncertain terms that this was now harassment, that I'd told him to lose my number, yet for 3 weeks he repeatedly called. He said he was sorry as I told him as crudely as possible to have a terrible day, but again this person working for Veracode wasn't sorry as they constantly called me when I'd twice informed them I was uninterested. On principle, I will never do business in any way with Veracode ever. What awful employees/sub-contractors and an awful company.
