    Date 9/19/22 During the pandemic, while working from home my previous employer installed Sophos as part of their system. Upon leaving this job they failed to remove this from my personal computer. I have contacted Sophos to remove their software from my personal device. Currently, the Sophos software is costing me both time and money as it is preventing me from performing tasks I need to.

    I needed to see if there was spyware and/or virus on my computer..I found "hitmanpro" put out by Sophos & since they had a trial version, i downloaded & installed. The install "failed", i attempted a reinstall, it failed. i then attempted to uninstall. Can't do it. I mean, there is NOTHING can be done to rid my PC of this software. They responded once on ******** but ignored me from then on. I used all the tools on their website to remove. i used a 3rd party to attempt removal. cannot remove in safe mode, in DOS. NOTHING will remove this! My only recourse is to format my hard drive! I have too much on there to do that and I want something done about this! i called them, I'm not a premium member, so they are snotty and don't help. Can't get support on their website, same thing, only premium members. This is a cyber security company that has essentially installed ********************* on my computer.
