Hello , I hired zac from flatline concrete of New England to resurface my pool deck. Zac didnt properly prep the surface after grinding leaving powder in the seams. Zac coated over the deck sealing the power under the coating. Shortly after the areas all lifted leaving very sharp edges for my little kids under 3 that have been cut by it. Ive been having to call all the time trying to get flatline concrete of new England out to repair. Zac the owner has come out a few time to repair leaving it worse off then when they started. Using extra material from previous jobs and now my pool deck is many different colors. The deck has so many sharp edges after putting down different stages of patch material and never sanding it down smooth. Zac the owner of flatline concrete of new England just keeps blowing off calls and giving every excuse not to come fix his failure. I have a huge message chain backing up threats if didnt remove my 1 star review that flatline concrete of new England wont come out to repair they failure. I instructed the owner zac that I wont be removing reviews but Ill update accordingly with work provided. Im trying to get his failure repaired or my money back so I can hire someone making it safe for family.

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.  *** tried to reach out to them and leave voicemails with no response.  Last time I left a BBB review and the company owner called me the next day after posting.  The owner of flatline concrete of New England *************** called right away stating to remove my review or he wont warranty any work.  I told him I can update the review with the status of my pool deck repair work.  The pictures of the text messages are attached.

I cant believe BBB would stand behind a company like this who demands a review be taken down or warranty work wont happen.  The review actually reflects work provided by flatline concrete of New England.  I would gladly update review to reflect work provided but Ill never remove a review.

The owner of Flatline Concrete of New England stated he will order material last week in May.  The statement submitted to BBB stated materials already ordered.  February 26th, 2024 was the 1st time hearing from the company after trying to get ahold of them for months.
I want this complaint to stay open till works completed.  Once complaints removed theyll just put off repair work again.

I hired Flatline Concrete in May of 2022 to demolish my existing in-ground pool deck, which was a mix of dirt, concrete and pavers, and replace it with a new slab. The job was never completed according to our agreement. They did not return to remove all of the forms and did not seal the slab.In addition there were several inadequacies with the work that did happen. Both ladder anchors were installed incorrectly such that they were not usable. The diving board jig was installed off center and sideways which made it unsafe to use. A form was placed on top of the wire mesh which sunk it to the bottom of the slab instead of the center making it ineffective. Concrete spray was left on my fence and retaining wall which I have been unable to remove. Dye was added to the concrete mix without consulting me first so I'm left with a slab color I didn't want.Additionally, during demo my aluminum fence was hit with machinery which left noticeable gashes and shifted a post such that the gate no longer closes properly. We had agreed that any dirt excavated from the area would be hauled off the property and I was told this was included in the price. The owner approached my husband later on and asked if they could leave the dirt as that would save us money but a discount never manifested. This pile also includes old concrete chunks which I specifically requested be hauled. We never agreed on leaving any concrete behind. Even so, on the day of the concrete pour I was told they needed to clean out the pump truck on my property which would leave a pile of excess concrete. I didn't feel I had a choice in the matter as the truck and crew were already there and ready to start the job after a month long delay. They did not return to break up and remove this excess concrete.I explained my concerns with the job to the owner in July and never saw him again. They left behind tools and a pile of trash. I have asked for a refund of the $17,500 I paid to hire elsewhere

The business reached out to me to ask for a list of issues to be resolved.  I provided it on April 13, 2024. Business told me they would check their schedule and I did not hear from them. No work has been completed. Nothing has changed.  This after failing to respond to my complaint for 18 months.  This is not a settled matter.
