      On Sep 9th, 2024, I purchased a ticket for the event called "boat cruise" on Eventbrite app, which would occur on Sep 21st, at the price of ***** USD. (Evidence 1)The event is organized by HL Central, an association formed by ****************** students, organizing extracurricular events for the fellow students. Despite of that, it is a private organization not affiliated with or sponsored by ******************. (Official Website: *******************************************************)On the Eventbrite detail page, the organizer mentioned nothing more than the location of the event and a one-sentence description: "About this Event: ***************** Other) What better way to say welcome back than on a boat cruise around the *************?" (Evidence 2) Based on this description, I reasonably conclude that this is a sightseeing cruise. Before the event, I only receives a purchase confirmation email and a reminder of the event date from Eventbrite. (Evidence 3 & 4)However, after I arrive at the port on the arranged date, the staff told me that the cruise serves alcohol, and I could not get on board without my passport. The organizer has never informed me that I should bring my passport, neither on the Eventbrite page nor through emails.I tried to contact the organizer through ********** "contact organizer" page, HL Central official website, and HL Central official instagram, but has never got any reply. I even tried to reach out directly to the student leaders of the association (**** ***************** *****, both students of Harvard Law JD 25) by DM them through instagram, but they ignore my request to follow. HL Central's failure to notify me the event details and negligence to after-sale service shows their carelessness and arrogance as a service provider.
