    Installed a septic system in 2019. He disappeared multiple times during the project, not answering calls or showing up and leaving a mess. Since then, the system had to be fully excavated and repaired due to faulty work, with multiple issue discovered. Since he was no longer permitted to work in the town, there was even an option to have him do the repairs assuming Id let him touch it again. What is most egregious is that when the project was not complete and months behind schedule, he asked for final payment. I withheld final payment until project was complete- and he used an aggressive lawyer to sue me for the payment, sending police to my home for delivery of papers. Since a negotiated settlement was less expensive for me than taking him to court- which he knew- I settled and paid. I was stuck with legal bills and 10k of repairs to his work.

    Hired based on the proposal to fix failed leach field in my septic system. Agreed on the T&C of the contract in April 2022, received invoice and paid 1/3 deposit right away. Proposal was quoted to be completed in 5 days no later than June of 2022. Supplier never showed up nor contacted me. Ignored several of my voicemails and texts(answered 2 out of dozen inquiries in total) He brought equipment on site in August (completion date of this contract was in June), spent couple of hours for 3 days and disappeared for another month. No communication. Called him 3 times and **** always promised work will get completed by the end of next week. Twice he said his equipment broke down and he needed to order new parts. Issued 93A letter October 1 to fulfil contract within 10 business days, **** emailed me that he will complete work in 10 days as requested and never showed up on site. I have CCTV on premises.Taking R. E. Boyd Contracting and affiliates to court under Consumer Protection Act.
