    We hired All State Fence to replace an existing wood fence. When the job was completed we noticed almost every one of the 6"x6" posts used had split on one or more sides. We called the owner. He stated this had never happened before and guaranteed that the splits would not affect the life of the fence. He agreed to replace 1 post and put in writing that the fence was guaranteed. It took a year of emails/texts to get the post replaced. We never received the written guarantee. Several posts have split even more to the point one can put a finger in the gap. The owner continues to insist this is not a big deal. It is apparent the quality of the lumber used was sub-par and we are stuck with a fence that will deteriorate.

    HI there, first off all i really apologize for not being able to reach your expectations. After all we have done to make you happy, our goal  is always  to go to the extremely limited extent to reach customer satisfaction and I believe we went above and beyond on our part. When we left your house everything was perfect without any crack on wood ( as shown on pictures below ). The excellence of the work earned many compliments from you personally and by text msg also, the work was completed with excellent quality of material , but again as i stated several times , we can not  guarantee that the wood won't crack, warp, mildew or twist as time goes by specialty in new england's  weather, as i just said i believe we fulfill our customer service very well as all ways, i took your call ,heard your concern , came by,  looked at it personally and replaced one of the post without any cost  after you asked me to do so. Again I do really apologise if after all we have done to make you happy  I couldn't  yet reach your expectations.
