  *** *****, the owner is super knowledgeable about the *** regulated process of making intra-family loans --inclusing mortgages -- so that they are not considered gifts. He can even access the minimum monthly rates published by the *** before they update their own website.There downloadable guide is incredibly thorough and valuable and is free. *** helped explain any other questions I had by phone promptly.Highly recommend. The fees are very reasonable if you don't want to calculate everything yourself.

  I am completely impressed with National Family Mortgage! I filled out the on-line application after reading & understanding the process, and I was called back within 24 hours & the representative explained the process & helped me determine the best way to go with the mortgage as well as the optional loan servicing process. The Representative made this super easy, and he communicated with the ****** company to ensure the loan ***************** was recorded properly. The only challenging part was not being able to speak with the representative prior to paying the fee after sending in the on-line application, but I did appreciate their desire to keep their costs low for their customers by not having to hire sales people to answer questions via people, who may or may not use their service. And honestly, they detail everything one would need on their website once you download their guide, so calls prior to application really wasn't needed other than for my peace of mind. Because I used this service, my ********* wife paid far less escrow fees, and were able to have a lower interest rate than the current rate, & my husband and I were able to set the rate that works for our financial plans. To me, this was such a win-win for both my son/his wife, as well as my retired ************ knowing that we are legally protected, the loan was done correctly, and with the loan servicing option, we don't have to collect the mortgage ourselves, and most importantly to us, the loan servicing company keeps track & sends out the required IRS forms to my son to write off their mortgage interest, while we get the form to declare the interest income.Thank you so much for this wonderful service!

  I felt ***************** was condescending speaking to me as a woman, and made me feel like he'd rather be talking to my husband. Nevertheless, I shared some legitimate concerns about the mortgage servicing company they use, and he explained why they use it. He allayed my fears so well, that I decided to fill out the form and use his services. I accidentally missed his promised 24-hour callback after we sent him our money because I didn't have his phone number in my contacts. (I get so many spam calls like all of us do!) When I emailed to say I hadn't heard from him, he said he didn't like my tone, so he cancelled the services, told me never to contact him again and returned my money. I felt disrespected. It made me wonder why in 10+ years of business he doesn't have any good reviews on ****** or here on the BBB?
