      I contracted with Preowned Auto Logistics (PAL) to transport a 2015 ********** Lancer from ******************, ** to ********, ***** per the agreement, I was to receive 1-2 hours notice prior to pickup of the vehicle. The carrier arrived at the site where the vehicle was stored without any notice as to his arrival. He loaded the vehicle and departed before I could get to the site. The driver did not provide an inspection report of the vehicle prior to departing.The recipient was to receive 1-2 hours notice prior to delivery of the vehicle. The carrier left a voice message indicating he would be dropping the vehicle in 20 minutes. The recipient was working and had to clock out then drive 45 minutes to his residence. When he arrived, the vehicle was parked at the bottom of the driveway. No inspection by the recipient prior to unloading was possible and no delivery inspection report was provided by the carrier.The recipient found damage to the front bumper and the apron/valence of the vehicle located below the front bumper. It appears that the driver rolled the vehicle down and into the gravel at the bottom of the driveway. I filed a claim with photos taken within 24 hours of delivery, as requested, with *** regarding the damages. I received several emails from *** in response to the claim. *** responded that *******************, the carrier who transported the vehicle, would not accept liability for the ********** contract is with Preowned Auto Logistics not with *******************, their subcontractor and *** has refused to honor the claim. I will not use this carrier again. They cannot be trusted to honor our contract with them.
