I brought my car to this over 4 years ago and finally had to get law enforcement involved to get it out there. He constantly took my money and had every excuse why the car wasnt done . But needed more money for this and that. Now that my car is out of there and at new mechanic i have to pay him to redo my entire car over cause everything was done wrong. This guys is a liar, scam artist , manipulator and narcissist. My invoices were paid on time every time. He also ruined my brand new trailer that was on his property that he decide to use for own personal trips out of state. Ive onset almost $100k there and car still wasnt finished after 4 years. Its depressing and sad . You bring a race car to a shop to get the work done you want and be safe and you get it back and its not any of that. Hes been to court more than any business owner should be thats still in business. I want his to be held accountable for his actions and wrong doings something needs to be done.

Unfortunately I'm not even sure where we should start with this complaint, other than it's beyond unfounded.  We have worked on maintained or built over 475 cars since going into business 9 years ago.   We continue to grow and expand our services.  ************* allegedly a self-proclaimed friend of mine after working on several of his projects.  His build was brought in unscheduled, We did our best to accommodate him while still servicing our regular waiting list and customers.  We took him on company trips with us treated him like part of the team and family.   Basically the long story short, he completely backstabbed us.  We had a tenant looking for some plumbing work which is  Mr ******** so called profession. He completely hacked the entire job.   Which we actually had to have redone.   He made a complete embarrassment of himself and myself for recommending him and his work.  After being upset about being called out on his shoddy workmanship and me not reaching out to see if he was okay after a few weeks we get a cease and desist work order letter.   After dozens of text messages and conversations face-to-face about how we were like family and we'll race from both our cars already and how he wanted to race under ******* Speed Shop thus starting a sponsorship program and leaving being a straight cash to labor client.  I personally the owner of ******* Speed Shop one above and beyond for this man on multiple occasions. Whether it be visiting at the hospital or hopping them through his ongoing issues, that will for the time being remain nameless.  Every time he was sent a bill he needed some long drawn out update about what was getting done, he'd offered to come help with his car and would spend most of the time on his phone.   Not a real team effort if you ask me.  There is one factual statement out of that complaint though.  His car wasn't finished You're right We were ordered to cease and desist work on it thus preventing us from finishing it.  He showed up here with the police instead of showing up here like a professional or a friend to demand his car back thus knowing he had a bill with us.  We will be pursuing him legally for the amount owed on services renderes. Unfortunately We are not to be grouped in with normal repair shops or the stipulation set forth by the state when which they operate in.  We are a specialty shop and yes sometimes these builds and the parts to complete these builds take months weeks even years sometimes.  In this case there were several different large components that were needed to complete the build that took weeks at times even months.  Mr ******* Was made aware of each and every one of these events but as you can see from his post above he just wants to play the victim.   When he showed up here we had told him that his car was about a week away from being finished and wrapped up.  We even let him borrow one of our personal vehicles because he showed up without straps to secure his car into his own trailer.  This man leaves a trail of destruction everywhere he goes.  We reported several of his side dealings to the necessary authorities in hopes that this gentleman finds the help he needs and becomes the person that my wife and I know he can become.

I purchase a Classic car from Spike speed shop in October for my birthday. The shop was waiting on some parts for this car. I ask for the title to the car but I was told that they were going out of town for the weekend and it turned out they were gone for two weeks. When I finally got the title and the paperwork I went to the registry of motor vehicle to try to get a title and register the car with insurance I had already purchased and became an issue with the title because it was signed over to the owner of the person who I was buying a car from when the car was sold to a person. I went back to Spike speed shop spoke with the owner about the issues and he kept giving me all kinds of different paperwork I went to the registry six times and I could not get anything done because the paperwork was incorrect. The owner of Spike speed shop kept telling me that they didnt know what they were doing at the registry of motor vehicle. I am 63 years old and feel that Im being taken advantage of. Can you please help

In response to the complaint since he has refused to respond to us directly,  We sold this classic car as is outright Private Party to party.   Highlighted everywhere that needed to be filled out on the back of the out of state title.  He neglected to follow instructions showed up numerous times without appointment which unfortunately takes us away from other clients some of which have waited well over a year for our services as a specialty shop.  We did and continue to do our absolute best to accommodate the party.  But somehow his mis appropriation of the paperwork is now our fault somehow.  We have stored his car at no charge since purchase maintained it i.e. started it moved it had it connected to a battery tender needless to say above and beyond.  Also taken numerous messages calls well after business hours.  Now that he has the paperwork all fouled up he wants money back?  Thats not going to happen nor does it per law and statue.  Our last message to him was very polite we asked that he compose himself and reach out to our office staff on Tuesday the 24th of Jan it is now Friday Jan 27th a week from our last contact and we have not heard anything back.  If he is not willing to follow the steps to rectify the situation and work with us there is really nothing we can do.  He currently still owes a balance for a special order brake kit we purchased at his request.
