I had contacted ProHeating and Cooling in March 2022 for an estimate for a ductless mini split system. ***************** came out to do the assessment,, and sent a contract in April with a quote of $15,115.97. I signed this and returned the contract in May. I heard nothing from him after this. In July I sent two emails asking for an update and installation date. I received no response to the first email sent 7/19/22. The second email was sent 7/29/22, and he responded that day stating he would call me on Monday ( would have been 8/1) with the installation date - All the equipment was ordered- was just waiting on the condenser which should be in the next week. I have heard nothing from him since. I have sent additional emails on 8/24,9/14, and 10/6. I have asked for any response from him to be in writing. There has been no response. I have had the insulation completed, as it is required as part of the MassSave rebate program for the mini splits, and made **** aware of this. At this time I have sought other estimates, all of which are higher than that of ****. I signed a contract today for the same system that was inSeans contract for $18,000. I am seeking reimbursement for the difference as it has been 6 months since I received his contract. I have been patient, waiting for some type of reply but continue to hear nothing.

Unfortunately ********** is having supplys chain issues and the vendor I use currently does have this equipment in stock. **************** did not put a deposit down for the work that she wanted done at her home. Also I believe there isnt even a signed Contractual agreement between both parties.

*************** is more than willing to work with any company of her choice she is currently not in a binding contract with Pro Heating and Cooling. For **************** to think Pro Heating and Cooling should be responsible for the price difference between two different complies is rather ridiculous.

In response to his delayed response - I was never asked for a deposit or told what amount was needed despite repeated calls and emails to ****. He sent the contract via email, and it was returned signed.

In response to ******************** response Pro Heating and Cooling feels that they should not be held financially responsible for ********* going forward with another company.  Pro Heating and Cooling would like to end this matter and have both parties go there separate ways. ******** is just looking for a free hand out trying to extort a small business by using the BBB.

I continue to wait for a response from the company as to why they have never responded to my attempts at contacting them. They have had a signed contract - which they sent to me- and I signed then returned to them in May. It is now the end of November. [You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.  If you do not enter a reason for your rejection, your complaint will be closed as Answered.]

Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.
