I went to the Dover Market today. I just moved to Dover from ***. As such, I do not have a Massachusetts license yet. I was COMPLETELY HUMILIATED as a result. The man and woman behind the register accused me of having a fake New York State ***I showed them a picture of my passport, a second form of my debit card and credit card, and they still had the audacity to tell me I had a fake *** If out of state IDs are this much of a problem, then an ID scanner should be equipped in store. I am a 24-year-old lawyer, and I completely understand that underaged children try to use fake IDs. However, their policy should either not accept out of state IDs or get an ID scanner. Not start accusing customers of having a fake ***** an individual in the legal field, I completely understand where they are coming from; however, the approach came off extremely rude and accusing. I even offered them to call the police and have the police verify the *** I also explained as to why I have a New York State ID, and that I graduated law school, took the bar exam in *************, and just moved to Dover.Completely lost my business moving forward, which is a shame because the market seemed great. However, I refuse to be humiliated further and accused of having a "fake ***" I have had no other issues at other Dover establishments, as they all have an ID scanner.
