      After a very successful first year festival event for our non profit, our second year with new 'management' and 'leadership' was abysmal. Despite booking over a year in advance, at double the price from the previous year, we were informed upon arrival at our event that there was another event that neither the inside manager nor the pavilion manager could communicate accurately how it would impact our festival of two live bands, 60+ vendors, and multiple activities and adoptable pups. I held out (false) hope for the new Chairman of the Board, but when he berated one of my volunteers to tears, only to be overheard stating loudly "how many times do I need to tell these F...ing R (word) where to park", that I knew we were dealing with a level of incompetence and unprofessionalism that frankly is unmatched. This was only confounded by the moldy refrigerator where we were to store our pavilion food, and lack of access to restrooms leaving volunteers and vendors were without facilities, clearly unacceptable. When our portajohns did arrive 3 hours late, but were inaccessible by some of our individuals attending who have physically limitations, we were still not to access restrooms (restrooms which attendees confirmed were kept available the previous weekend for a similar event, and which we were provided access to last year). Repeated harassing texts throughout our event were deliberate and unnecessary, 'reminding' us if we didn't hit our bar tab we would be fined, and that any water bottles we brought on site were not to be sold and had to be removed. Despite their best attempts, we prevailed, raising money and saving pups!
      I would not recommend EBCC for any venue rental. Ultimately it is their unprofessionalism, specifically the derogatory use of terms toward non profit volunteers and attendees, and limiting accessibility to the disabled, that was most unconscionable and inexcusable. Don't support this behavior. Find a better venue.
